1) 100% didds goes 2 if it is a 2-clue. Infinity means musical has a tie into exactly 1 word that has not been clued. The remaining word is Latitudes.
2) Musical is either piano or whistle. Now this could be me getting into my own head, but I wanna say if it was piano we would of got "instrument"... but also if it was whistle... we would of got like "lips" or something. I think Piano is best.
3) Latitudes I think is

The main problem I have is that they have 1 out for Marriage still. And I think that likely has to be 1/2 of Piano and Circle. By that logic we cannot be Piano and Circle... which would be my favorite guess.

I think the play is to go for musical first? It could still be WAVE for latitude.

It has to be one of piano/whistle and it has to be one of Circle/Wave/France.

maybe circle is best to start. hope for the best and then if we are right we go from there.

Musical: 1 (if the 2nd is just our remaining latitudes). Why infinity?

I also agree if the idea was to just just us to piano, then there are better clues for Piano, that would not also make us think Whistle (and vice versa).

So I remain completely confused.

What if she meant Musical:0 and the idea is we should skip all the musical related words!! Aaack!

I think it's super unlikely the clue would be Musical if Piano wasn't one of our words.

Pasta's point about Musical:1 vs Musical: infinite is driving me to this, but it is a very solid point.

No that is stupid actually if we somehow go neutral I do not want those thoughts out.

Let us simplify this. WCD knows Piano is on the board. There is no way we get musical as the hint if piano is not the hint right? I mean just take it at that. We can come up for connections to others, but all of them have better hints. And yes, we could of got a better hint for piano... but how do we get Musical without it being piano?

Open to more thoughts, but at this point, for those reasons... I am fine with someone locking piano and then us iso-ing from there.

So I do not think it can be musical related unless it is also Latitudes related. We still have an outstanding Latitudes, so I think it has to be Latitudes related.

I am actually gonna double back there and say it could be WAVE. That would technically hit both Musical and Latitude.... but then we would of gotten a 2 clue for musical.

Simplest answer is normally the correct one. I think it is just Circle. What you all think?

Sorry for my delay.

I really think infinity means it is not circle. (problem is I don't have a better guess in mind)

The only other thought I have is that they still need 3, so would pass even be an option? Probably not since they do have clues for 2 of those, and eventually they'll get it. Though would they guess circle?

(I also imagine that WCD going infinity means she wants us not to pass)

So if that's what both of you want to guess circle, then go for it, and 🤞

I think the purpose of infinity was to NOT clue a number.
She didn’t have 2 for musical, but she did have 1. She did not want to do a number (or even 0, which may deter us from musical stuff maybe)

Now I have no idea if it is actually circle. But i am really confident we are looking for exactly and only our last latitude clue here.

Our options are realistically Circle France Wave.

They need Starbucks 1 - have a theory, but none of our words
They need Marriage 1 - yeah that’s the one that sucks
They need 2 for Sandwich - Probably something that is not circle and then maybe circle lol - but yeah.

Idk what else i like better than circle

Ok just wanna say this though - in case it was intended, I believe we are not supposed to use the numbers as part of the clue. Not sure on that, but Idk if we are technically supposed to be clueing like “infinite” as the number into the clue.

It went straight over my head lol so no harm at least here, but just so we establish it for future games

Yeah, while technically an illegal reference as the intended clue:

A) The reference played no impact on the decisions of the guesses
&
B) Circle IS defensible as a Musical Clue (music being sung in Rounds).

My thought, which I had expressed to Swowl after he guessed Circle, was that Infinity was used here to express that the second word COULD be tied to “Musical”, but was NOT the obvious “2” clue of Whistle - that is, the clue said “Look for another Musical connection that isn’t the obvious” - which would’ve possibly indicated either Circle or Wave.

For us, we have 3 left - I’m assuming France (French Press (coffee/Starbucks), City of Love (Marriage), French Dip (Sandwich)) was one. Wagon probably for Marriage as well (Hitch the Wagon)… and I’m not sure on the third.
