Possession and Villagers

If I'm possessing a player, and they have villagers, can I convert them into actions even if I don't need them?

I'm 90% sure the answer is yes, but I don't think it's supported in the online game. I've only ever seen a prompt to convert villagers when Snowy Village is in the game - maybe also Diadem but I don't remember that.

Yes, you can. You make all decisions for that player, and spending a Villager for an action is a decision you can make at any time on your turn during your action phase. Same with wasting Coffers; except that is limited to the bit phase before buying a card.

Are you sure about that? In the Renaissance rulebook it says about Villagers, "a token there can be removed in your Action phase for +1 Action."
Has Donald errata'ed this?

My mistake; was going from memory. Fixed, but the ultimate answer stays the same.
