Good clues Joth.
I found it very hard to link together the red words with any reliable clues. And after blue hit 4 on their first turn I knew we were getting maximum 3 turns, so I felt I had to go for larger more ambiguous clues.
White: 4 would have been nice (Moon, Fair, Winter, Mint) but Wine being the assassin put paid to that.
So team, thanks for trying to make the most of my ambiguous clues. It was fun watching the discussion! Here were my intentions:
Grip: 4 - Film, Winter (in the grip of winter?), Ninja, Tube
Foraging: 3 - Brazil (nuts), Mint, Winter
Circular - Moon, Tube, Mint, Fair (lots of rotating things at a fair, rather tenuous, but Fair had already come up in the discussion for Grip at least).
In retrospect, Foraging was a bad clue; I hadn't thought about Worm or River there. I suppose I was thinking of the picture on the Dominion Forager card, which shows someone picking fruit, so I was thinking about gathering fruit and nuts (Brazil) and picking plants (Mint). Maybe "Forager" might have been slightly better.
I had a feeling Joth was going to clue Mexico and Dance (and then he asked me in PM about cucuracha) so I felt I should hold back Circular until Dance had gone. But then if you had got Brazil, he could have gone for the more obvious Mexico-Greece link, so it was fairly hopeless anyway.
Anyway, it would have been nice to have been down to 5 words left and able to give Circular: 4 for my last clue, but it was never going to work unless you somehow changed your mind and prefer Brazil over River.
Good game!
