Two I want to think about are Pitch and Whale, both of which I can't quite see how to connect but I think must connect somehow.

Whale is also kind of a leftover from Poacher, probably. I'd be fine with that. I am not quite seeing Pitch here, but maybe I am missing something.

Alright. I think it would be best at this point to pass, right? We can't get everything this turn anyways, and I'm not really sure about the next guess.

Nice, so definitely not LITTER.

So we go back to our other list... And I do have a new one to consider SLIP. because if Cinderella and the glass slippers.

So we have Jack left from earlier, and we mentioned Part, Switch and Chick. I feel Part has a chance but the others are unlikely.

Now why has Galzria given us a 0 clue instead of a 2 or 3?
Either it's really important we avoid Litter (Blue or Assassin).
Or we were right on track before, with the exception of Litter. But other than Jack, we hadn't been really clear about what we would go for next.
Or both.

Anyhoo, Jack for sure. Then two more Disney non-Dalmations ones.

Slip, possibly, but very tenuous, and also faust considered that as one of theirs for oil. So that would be a risk.

Is there a connection with Pirate SHIPs? As a ride at the park, or in some film?

Many Disney films are rated PG, which is in a TRIANGLE. Is that the same symbol in US?

What's the Disney logo like? Just the signature isn't it? No triangles involved??

Most Disney films here are G, and it's not in a triangle. The disney logo is a castle and signature, I can't think of any triangles.

Ship, maybe? Pirates of the Caribbean is Disney, I think?

BUT I could also see that being Oil. Slip is also possible Oil, that could be scary.

Let's try JACK

So we have two more.

I think they only have one more oil left, do you agree? if so then it is possible that both (and at least one of) slip and ship are ours?

I was thinking ship is less likely to be oil AND I'm pretty sure there are Disney cruises. So I'd feel good about that one.

I don't really like Chick, Switch, or Part. (of those three part is the best, but it still feels meh).

I wish I had NOT seen a connection to Litter, and we could've gotten a real clue this turn. SORRY.

Is it possible that Dalmatians is warning us away from more than just Litter? (i.e could it be warning us away from Part, since there are 101 of them?) then again could our word actually be Chick because if it weren't, he could have tried to warn us away with something like Babies:0. THOUGH, now that I think if it, Jack is a baby in the Incredibles (Pixar), and he might have been worried we wouldn't go for that.  This is starting to feel like a mafia game!

Personally, I think I'd go Ship -> Slip even though it does feel risky. If you're ok with ship, go ahead and lock it in.

So, from where I stand, that is mainly a warning against Pitch? And possibly Jacket? There may be something I'm missing, I'm not well versed in baseball jargon.

I need to collect my thoughts regarding our next guesses...

Blue's clues:
Poacher: 3
Would be covered by Lion/Whale/Game. Outside chance of Part being the third instead of Whale.
Oil: 3
Definitely Olive. Whale and Ship vaguely fit, but that would imply that we have unclued words, and that doesn't seem to make sense. Two other Oil words we discussed were Helicopter and Slip.
Baseball: 0
Mainly a warning against Pitch I think.

Red's clues:
Needle: 3
Pin is one word there. Second might have been Head. Third... maybe Jacket? As in sewing?
Disney: 7
We have Silver, Screen, Giant, Train. Other options could be Part (Movie), Pitch (ptiching a movie idea), Chick (animal protagonists)
Dalmatians: 0
Warning against Litter.

Sooo... overall, I feel like Slip -> Helicopter, because I suppose the 0 clue is meant to tell us that we were heading in the right direction.

Both Blue!

Congratulations Blue team!

It’s too early in the morning for me to write up my postmortem (especially as I haven’t had coffee yet!), but that was a very entertaining game with a lot of fun clues & twists!

I’ll post the full board and thoughts a little later.

Swan & I are definitely in for the next one (not sure who spymasters rotate to).

Good one!

I look forward to seeing what the other Disney ones were. And I will always encourage a 7 clue if you see a chance! :)

If we keep the same rotation faust and I are next up; if we want to switch it up, it could be faust and infangthief. One artifact of this, can't decide if it's good or bad, is both spymasters would be in the same time zone for all rounds (swowl and galz on the west coast; faust and infangthief in europe; joth and me in Boston)

Full Board:

PARTTRAINJACKCHICKPIN
GIANTPIEWHALESWITCHJACKET
DESEASEELECTRICOLIVEGAMESHIP
SLIPLIONWALLHELICOPTERPITCH
SILVERHEADTRIANGLELITTERSCREEN

Alright, postmortem:

The first connection that jumped out to me was Jack (& the Beanstalk), and Giant. That got me thinking of Fairy Tales or Fantasy. I recalled that Snow White baked Pies with the Seven Dwarves, and that pulled me towards Disney, whom I'm sure have covered Jack and The Beanstalk. Disney brought me to the Silver Screen, at which point I knew I had to run with that clue.

Actors roles in movies are often considered "Parts", and Movies themselves can come in "Parts", so I thought that was a good fit as well. The last connection I made was Train - I was thinking Polar Express, which isn't Disney, but I thought might get brought up under a clue for Disney.

That left Pin and Head as my last two words - I didn't see any connection to Disney or Films for those, so had to clue them separately. Needle seemed like a good choice to tie them together... I definitely overlooked Disease as a connection - it just (somehow) wasn't on my mind. Given Needle as a clue, I figured I would add Silver into the count as well - no reason not to.

I decided to start with Needle: 3 instead of Disney: 7 because there were a decent number of OTHER tie ins that could be made for Disney. In my head, the obvious list for Disney went:

Jack (& the Beanstalk), (James & the) Giant (Peach), (Movie) Part, Pie, Silver, Screen, (Movie) Pitch, Wall(-E), Ship (Pirates of the Caribbean), Litter (101 Dalmatians),  Train (Polar Express), Whale (Moby Dick).

I didn't consider Slip(per), or Chick (Chicken Little). Either way - at the time, while I didn't think Litter would come anywhere near the top of your list, I figured there were enough blue/neutral words in there that I wanted the other team to have a turn first - so I thought opening with Needle was better than opening with Disney.

Scola was pretty much reading my mind most of the time. He pushed hard against Litter (and even read it as possible assassin) early on - but it came WAY to close to being guessed the first time around that I HAD to clue you off it. Had you guessed Jack in the first round of Disney and left me with just Part & Pie, I would've run a 2 clue (Slice: 2, or something) for them - but based on your conversations, I couldn't bank on doing that, and then you guessing Jack over Litter as the final word.

I knew that Pie was higher up in my mind than it might be in yours - but I was hoping that on a 3rd round I would be able to clue back to it. Litter coming so high up on your list really threw off my gameplan. Ah well - It's not often you get a chance to run a 7 clue, and I felt pretty good about it all the way around! Unique game! Two 0's and a 7!
