1. I believe everyone knows the rules, but just in case here is the link: https://czechgames.com/files/rules/codenames-rules-en.pdf

2. Before we had established a "no google" rule. We can vote on it, but I think it should stand.

3. Try to be timely, we have some parameters set up from Decrypto we can use, but let's just say try to keep up the pace :)

yeah, think thats it. I will roll the teams and post here and send the Spymasters the grids.

I currently imagine mail-mi wearing a dark trenchcoat and a bowler hat, hunched over a bit, toothpick in his mouth, holding a gun in his pocket.  One bead of sweat trickling down his nose.

As a non-native speaker, I would like to be able to sometimes use translation tools, I hope that's fine.

As for the clue: Beach and Pool sound reasonable. The third one could be Air or Shakespeare.

Faust - yeah i think that is fine.
It is more to prevent the data mining aspect of it, like using wiki to crate a link between words. Using it to clear up a language barrier(assume i am speaking for all here) is fine.

Maybe I have an association that doesn't work with the English word? There is a meaning to swelter in German which is associated to romance, like you're sweltering from longing, or something.

Mercury is a good catch.

I'm fine with Air first, I feel like Pool has a stronger association to Sweltering than Beach though.

ok, for the big finish I would be fine with either Beach or Mercury. I sort of lean toward Mercury because in addition to the closest to the sun thing, it's also used in thermometers which are a symbol for extreme heat. But idk, Beach is a more obvious fit.

Well, this seems to fit with a lot of things with some imagination.

London, Queen, Embassy, Shakespeare, Germany... even Spine but that's a stretch.

Is there a Churchill association other than Winston? Is it the name of a football (soccer) team, perhaps? Or a ship? I am so tempted to break the Google rule.

It could connect to Beach, because Normandy, which is tenuous. But I almost want to guess Beach first anyway because it's our leftover from last time.

Otherwise I think I like London and Germany first, then Queen and Embassy in either order. Once again I'm not entirely sold on Shakespeare.

I don't know of any soccer team named like that. I'm sure there are ships named after Churchill, but I don't believe any of these are famous. Galzria is not British, right? I'm not too worried that we're missing something.

It could connect to Beach, because Normandy, which is tenuous. But I almost want to guess Beach first anyway because it's our leftover from last time.
I think given the other available words, Beach seems a pretty big stretch for Churchill. It could still totally be the third word from Sweltering, but I wouldn't have it as our first guess.

Otherwise I think I like London and Germany first, then Queen and Embassy in either order. Once again I'm not entirely sold on Shakespeare.
Well, Shakespeare works in an "also a famous English person" sort of way. I like it more than Beach at least.

I think I would go London first, then probably Germany? Then we could do Beach after.

Queen might well be unintentionally clued. It seems very difficult to clue London in a way that doesn't also clue Queen.

Black cats are bad luck, and you have to be lucky to win at Russian Roulette. That's all I've got though, any other ideas?

I like Roulette first, hope you're ok with my locking it in. (not just russian roulette, but regular roulette is a game of luck)

Maybe cat? It'd not great, but possibly the best 2nd option.

I can find some other, albeit weak, connections:

you have a cast, because you got unlucky and break your leg
there's look in any sport, so football
there is a superhero, I'm trying to remember which one that has good luck (I think she as in the Flash TV show)

See, all of them are weak. :)

So, yeah, if you want to try cat next, I'm ok with that.

(Lucky strike is a brand of cigarettes, but I don't see any help from that)

Okay, so I think one of the words is Stick.

Log should be avoided; if you wanted to clue Stick/Log, the word wouldn't be Shrubbery.

There's a Monty Python reference to be found here I'm sure, but I don't remember how it goes.

Ok, long shot but a Shrubbery is basically a bush. And bush is another word for the Australian Outback. And Kiwi is a word for a person from New Zealand, which is close to Australia. ... no, that's too much.

So we've had

Sweltering 3

Probably Air, Beach, and Pool

Churchill 3

London, Germany, and ???

Shrubbery 2

Stick and ???

Unguessed possibilities for Churchill: queen and Shakespeare, maybe spine?
unguessed possibilities for Shrubbery: log, ?

I don't think we can pass here. faust, what do you think about Shakespeare? He's sort of vaguely possible for all the clues. Idk what the connection to shrubbery is, but it sounds like a word he'd use. Maybe I'm thinking of "Get thee to a nunnery"

I mean, I agree that this is too much, but... kiwi is also a fruit, I suppose a berry, so it would grow on a shrubbery?

Shakespeare is the obvious one, right? There are authors of superhero comics, you write on paper which is made from logs, you cast people in a movie written by an author... that's all I got.

Yeah, all this time it was possible Shakespeare was theirs, but clearly now it's ours.

After that, clearly swowl going for the win here. Nothing seems too clear. Let me think about it some.

OK, some other vague possibilities:

Log, you mentioned, but also the context if "captain's log"...
Spine, as in a book, and often has the nake of the author on it
Back - sometimes books have author information in the back?

I think I like spine for our 2nd guess, not sure 3rd yet.

I didn't think of Spine, I like that as our 2nd guess too. I think log would be best for our third?

Nice.I'm happy with Log as our 3rd - even if not ours, I don't think it will be theirs (or assassin) either.

So if you're still good with it, feel free to lock it in.

Hold on--Log might be theirs for shrubbery. Do we still want to risk it?

My thought is I agree with joth, that if their words were stick and log there are better clues out there than shrubbery.

OK so thats a first for me! A sixer!

I have lots of thoughts but I think the 2 gimmes are

1. Embassy
2. Spy

After that we can talk about Stock, Ruler, Football, Gold, Diamond, Earth, Opera, Princess... and all the other ones you can think of lol.

If you agree with my 2 go ahead and lock em and we can start looking into the rest.

Don't lock something in past spy though unless you are 100%. with a 6 guess we may wanna go for a pass here early on to help narrow.

I think Change is possible (you should change your mask often, masks are a big change to the world lately), as is sock (a mask for your feet? you can make COVID masks out of socks)

From the rulebook (https://czechgames.com/files/rules/codenames-rules-en.pdf):

Quote
You are allowed to use 0 as the number part of your clue. For example, feathers: 0 means, "None of our words relate to feathers."

If 0 is the number, the usual limit on guesses does not apply. Field operatives can guess as many words as they want. They still must guess at least one word.

No no no no, he said "King: 0" so ruler and princess are obviously not picks. He doesn't want us guessing anything related to king.

That means we have unlimited guesses, right? Or do we just have 1?

From the rulebook (https://czechgames.com/files/rules/codenames-rules-en.pdf):

Quote
You are allowed to use 0 as the number part of your clue. For example, feathers: 0 means, "None of our words relate to feathers."

If 0 is the number, the usual limit on guesses does not apply. Field operatives can guess as many words as they want. They still must guess at least one word.

If you're not sure why this is useful, don't worry. You'll figure it out.

Vote: Scola. Only Scum reads the setup that closely and points out what everybody else misses.

K -

Words we can rule out based on King clue: Ruler, Princess, Washington?,

Words we can probably rule out based on Mask clue: Football? I think that is probably blue. And it could be international football (like soccer).

Leaves us with....
Stock - international stock - YES
Gold - could be, but reach - MAYBE
Diamond - blood diamonds and shit - YES
Brush - NO
Cat - NO?
File - Again, maybe to like a file that covers international stuff... but a stretch - MAYBE
Point - ***This somehow could be something, I just can't put my finger on it*** - MAYBE
Sock - lol they wear socks in different countries? - NO
Button - International Button Issue is a news term. but a reach - MAYBE
Change - You go through changes as you go from country to country - MAYBE
Mammoth - Because the earth was all one big land mass when they were around? - NO?
Dream - NO?
Church - There are international church groups. Actually a fairly common thing - MAYBE++
Copper - I mean yeah... but also a reach - MAYBE
Earth - We missed this first one out. Earth and international has an obv tie together - YES
South - I mean same as "earth" but more of a reach - MAYBE

So not in order, but imo the categories should be:

YES WORDS - STOCK, DIAMOND, EARTH

MAYBE/YES WORDS - SOUTH, COPPER, CHURCH, GOLD

MAYBE/NO WORDS - CHANGE, BUTTON, POINT, FILE

NO WORDS - DREAM, MAMMOTH, SOCK, CAT, BRUSH

We need 6 more from INTERNATIONAL, I think the order should be (unless you have another top word pick you wanna look at):

Earth/Stock first (order IDK about). Followed by Diamond (unless you got something better). Possibly followed by Church.

The only thing I am hesitant about is the Diamond part. I do not think pasta would guess us 2/3 between GOLD/COPPER/DIAMOND, and I do not think they go with the word INTERNATIONAL, if it is 3/3.
That being said it could totally be 0/3 lol and Diamond is not one...

Either way I think Church should move up actually into a yes.

Earth -> Stock -> Diamond/Church/South? You like anything outside of that?

only need 2/3 of Diamond/Earth/South... just threw South in because it is the only other maybe word I had listed. I like it the least of the options.

lol in case you wanted to WIFOM some more with this...

Original post of word considerations back when he originally gave INTERNATIONAL 6 was; Stock, Ruler, Football, Gold, Diamond, Earth, Opera, Princess.

We correctly got 2/4. He gave a hint for 6. If he was trying to ISO us out that is the other 4 right there.

That being said, I have a hang up with Football. 1) just kind of a middle word for me, and 2) I cannot come up with enough words for MASK without it.

Well. We missed quite a few on Mask.

We have 4 possible guesses to make off this clue.

There are 3 clued Mask Words, and 3 clued Wire words. Possible overlap.

For Wire:

Wire Brushís are used to scrub things clean.
Copper Wire is the standard for most things.
Gold Wire also exists, but that creates the question of why Wire is the clue given.

For Mask:

Football Players wear Masks.
A Princess might wear a Mask at a gala or ball.
A person Changes their Mask.
Ummm...?

I think we should go Brush -> Football from here, and then decide if we want to guess at Wire #3, Mask #3 or pass.

I like Cat more than Princess for Mask, but I think I like it less than Change... although I guess it's a close call for me. I definitely like it LESS than Football though.

I think after that we should try Church, since Scola didn't give us a clue against that one.

I am good with church next but i will let you lock it in yams to be safe.

Canít really think of how Brush would be international.
Obviously Mammoth was not expected to be either.

So that is international 6 and we got 2 others.

So i think if we get church we are looking for 2 more international.

Well, 42.8% of the words on the board are ours at this point, and thatís before removing things like football based off this clue. So anything that might even be a little bit close in meaning is worth consideration.

Iím good with Gold.

Iíll really try to sit down & think through the words in detail later today.

We've only got one more, right?

I feel like if diamond or south was the assassin, Scola would have given us a 0 clue about one of them. So I say let's send it and guess one of them. I'm probably leaning more towards Diamond.

Ok, so I think our words are most likely Princess, Ruler, Cat, Sock, Button, and ... one other.

Sock - What association do you see with Mask and Heraldry?
Ruler - I think this fits Mask for the same reason Princess does - They might attend a Ball or Gala wearing a Mask. It also fits Heraldry. It might also fit Wire... A Wire Ruler might be a thing - but I don't actually know.
Washington - State/Person/DC are the three primary associations I have with the word. I agree "no" on Mask and Wire. I also would say "No" on Kaepernick. Heraldry.... eeeehhhhh?
Cat - Mask is probably the best "fit" for cat between Mask/Wire/Heraldry. Fine with Kaep: 0 clue as well.
Button - Masks can have Button Eyes or Nose. A Push Button could be a connection to wire(s) on a circuitry board. No Connection to Kaep. Heraldry... I agree, maybe.
Change - Mask is possible. Wires get changed out sometimes. Kaepernick fought for change. Heraldry - not exactly a tight association, but maybe.
File - Agree no association to Mask. None to Kaep. Maybe Heraldry - if you're filing down (as in, like, putting the finishing touches on) something. But that's loose. Wire? Maybe?
Point - The end of a wire is pointy is about the best association to be made here I think. Maybe Coat's of Arms come to a point but... eh.
Princess - I agree with Mask and Heraldry associations.
South - Kaep played for the San Francisco 49ers.

So...:

Knowing there are two Mask and two Wire associations out there still:
- I think I like Princess and Cat best for Mask. Although a good argument could be made for Button. A lesser argument for Ruler.
- I think Point and... probably Button? Are the best two fits here. I don't actually think much else even has a fighting chance. Maaaybe Ruler? Maybe File?
- Heraldry probably best goes with Ruler and Princess.

So I think our best guesses are:

Princess, Ruler, Button, Point, Cat... and I guess Sock if you think that's the last one. I don't really have a better guess.

I guess I feel on Point about what I feel on Sock.

My overall list would go:

Most Certain:
Princess, Ruler

Pretty Certain:
Button

Not Super Certain:
Cat

Not Certain At All (But Have No Better Options):
Point, Sock

Princess, then ruler, then button, then cat

So I guess my thought on sock was there's a loose connection to mask because they're both clothing. With Heraldry, I might be misunderstanding the term but I thought it could refer to like royal colors on clothing.

How do you feel about THEIR last word? They seem to think itís South, which ISNíT in our list... which I think is good for us. Any other thoughts on what it might be and if it influences our guesses?

We need two more?

I think weíre done with Mask clues. I think we have at most one more Wire clue (possibly, although unlikely, zero).

That leaves one to either guess at or attribute to Heraldry.

so...

Sock - No
File - No

Change - different, coins, outfit... all way better no way

Washington - Why not just "president" or something
South - I have no idea why capitol is the guess lol but I mean...

I like south based on the game history and bc the only other one it could be is washington... which I feel would be a different clue. So I like South. What you think?

I mean, I think he's referring to the capitol of the United States, which would be Washington. Washington also works with our International clue, and that's the last one we're looking for. I absolutely think it's Washington. At least, that's the most clear guess to me.

I mean, I think it works with Washington better than it does south. Like with south he could easily have said North or Direction or, like, Florida.

So let us cross our fingers and say Washington

Whew!

You guys made me stress with that last clue. I thought it was 100% obvious. To be clear, I will point out that the clue was Capitol, not capital. The Capitol is the building in Washington DC where Congress presides.

I'll work on a full post mortem (this was a crazy round!) but I preferred this to something like President, because I was trying to avoid Change. (and something like American could have easily been South)

I'm glad you realized that it if it had been South, I would have gone with North or Direction.

So yeah, that was a crazy round - it's the first time I've successfully used the zero clue*. I loved the Vote: scola joke for it, btw, but stayed quiet as the spymaster.

* I used it once in an in person game (remember those from the Before Times), and the person misunderstood and guessed the exact clue, the assassin, that I was trying to avoid.

Post mortem:
INTERNATIONAL (6): Spy, Embassy, Earth, Washington, Football, Church
KING (0): Ruler, Princess
WOOLY (1): Mammoth
GOALS (2): Football, Dream
CAPITOL (1): Washington

I love going big and I knew there were some hazards with INTERNATIONAL, but I thought they'd be mostly from the neutral words. I didn't think you'd go with Ruler or Princess because to me they felt more "national", less "inter". I also hoped you'd think Washington before England because DC is a very international city, whereas, with the exception of London, I don't see England as that international either. And yes International Football as in soccer (I am a bug fan) and Church spans multiple nations. So hopefully get 2-4 in the first round, only hit neutrals, and then have some idea for the +1 of future rounds.

But then you did debate both Ruler and Princess! If it had just been the one, I might have risked sticking with ours words, but with both, I figured I'd try the zero clue (also it allowed unlimited guesses and you still had 4 left from the first round).

It didn't occur to me that King could point to Washington and remove it from your possibles. Though after I did think of Martin Luther King and both the March on Washington and the I have a Dream speech. So was worried you'd avoid both those.

It helped they got Brush for us, and were probably going to get Football (before the excellent Kaep: 0 clue), so I was now focussed on Washington, Dream, and Mammoth. Couldn't think of anything to combine those that I liked. Maybe: Big (2) for dreams (big dreams)? but also big change and big socks (to fill) and we had a decent lead, so decided not to risk it.

Then when it was clear they weren't guessing Football for us, came up with Goals for Dream and Football. Was a little worried you might go Point, since a goal is a point, which is why I went with the plural version.

And then I already explained my reasoning around the last clue.

My last thought is for the last blue turn, there were 4 non blue words, Washington, Change, South, and Point. There was already reason to believe Change was not Blue and maybe Washington, so was thinking maybe he could have gone DIRECTION:0, to get you to skip South and Point and not get the remaining blue.

Lol yeah, sorry. There were definitely some language-induced hiccups this time around that I should have given more thought.

My intentions were:

Mask: Face, Button, Sock (because Ski Mask), Cat

Opera was a planned casualty, I thought it was fine because it's neutral. I did not consider football at all because in my mind football=soccer and I did not think about a sport involving masks...

Wire: Copper, Button, File

Yeah, I was mostly thinking wire as electrical wire, not considering other types of wire. From that perspective, these made sense. Didn't know about the term wire brush at all, so *sigh*.

Kaepernick: Football, Change, Washington

Definitely needed to do something about football, and Change was a very dangerous assassin word because it fits with so many clues. Washington was an outside bet, there was no real danger of it getting guessed, but it was nice to have it covered too. Honestly I thought the game was forfeit at this point as I was like 90% certain that the next clue was going to be American: 3, for Washington/Football/Dreams. Turns out I was wrong.

Heraldry: Ruler, Princess, File

I thought Ruler/Princess were already quite strongly clued to be our words by how eager scola was to avoid them, but I guess that didn't enter consideration. Anyways those two are trivial to connect, I needed to cover a third word. I chose file as that was the one you didn't mention at all so far, and heraldry was trying to go there by being a bureaucratic endeavour. my alternative clue was Zelda, but I'm not familiar enough with those games to know for sure that it wouldn't lead somewhere else.

Why Washington?

American would have been good here, I didn't see it. Though I still think they might have guessed South before Dream.

Yeah, I was sitting here after we guessed Point, and was definitely coming around to Sock for a couple of other reasons - definitely was feeling more confident with it... but even if we had gone Sock first over Point, I just don't think I ever would've gotten to File. I really liked the Zelda non-clue though. That would've worked out, I think. Ah well - it all ended super close!

I wouldn't pass just yet, maybe after the next one.

I understand the sentiment. I think from a tactical perspective it's probably best to pass for now. We've had a good run and we can use that additional clue later on.

Dance seems like a good first choice.

Then others could be table, piano, square, court, ruler, crown?

I prefer two from the first three over the last three.

Well, that worked out nicely.

Chieftan is Ruler for sure, and then... I assume strongly that Crown isn't ours.

The second word could be Forest? Possibly Aztec, but I think they had a more centralized goverment structure? Calf also very vaguely fits.

Sorry all - had a very long weekend that culminated in an 8 1/2 hour swim and 4 hours on the road home Sunday.

Well, that worked out nicely.

Ruler immediately jumped out.

Aztec and Forest were also the next two I thought possible, but then I also wondered if there has ever been a Chieftain Missile ... I don't know, but it sounds possible.

I'm not at all confident on another guess. We're at 5 of 9 - we could press the advantage and take a shot here, or we could let it sit to see what fills out on the board. I'm more in favor of the latter - take the pass here, wait and see how we're feeling on our next turn.

i think I agree with the pass here, especially since Piano could reasonably have been the 4th Crash word, so it's not like we're looking at 2 unused clues.

Alright, pass

OK clearly, Iron. Probably Pan.

Any others not as strong to me as those two.

And both feel good that I'd prefer those two, before circling back to ballroom. For which I still prefer table, next (I think of ballrooms always being set up for events with tables). Then square or court? (I like those more than crown, and ruler of course has now been ruled out)

Iron for sure -1/2 rust.

Then i think tie between
Pan - 2/2 rust and Crown for #2 of Ballroom.

What you think?

I like PAN next.

Why nut for rust? you mean like nuts and bolts? I guess, I still think Pan more likely.

Why Crown for Ballroom? What do you think of my Table suggestion?

Yes like nuts and bolts but i am a dead on tie between the two, so pan is fine.

I like table and cloak for ball room after crown. I like crown because of the chieftan clue specifically gave them ruler without crown

So, that's Forest, Luck and... something else? Possibly Time, since Elves are often depicted as immortal? Cloak, as with the elven cloaks in LotR? Or maybe Thief, as in RPGs Elves tend to get bonuses on dexterity.

Forest for sure. Are Elves particularly lucky, or are they considered good luck? Leprechauns are, but I havenít heard as much about Elves.

Cloak was my instinctive next guess, with thief, court & crown following.

I'm a bit worried, and I would pass unless you think there's a chance that we guess the final word this turn as well. I think Chieftain was Forest, so that's gone, and then Crash might have been Piano, but maybe it's something else?

Clearly we're in a tough spot here. We need 7 words!

2 more for ballroom (assuming iron wasn't)
1 for rust
up to 4 for attack.
and remaining, random.

I'd rather hope there are actually 4 attack.

Possibly Missile, Scorpion, Aztec, thief (?), crown, hole, time (is time of attack a phrase?), maybe other vague ones, but we're likely to have something vague here.

I like Scorpion the most. Then I'm wary of Missile (could it be blue?), so would likely go Aztec second.

hold on.
2 ballroom
+
1 rust
+
4 Attack
---- => 7 words.

and we have 2 words.
and they went first.

We only need 8 right?

ok we gotta swoop it for the win either way! so here is where I am at I guess:

Ballroom (need 2):
NO = Nut, Time, Spot, Pizza, Aztec, Square, Thief, Missile, Calf, Hole, Scorpion, Luck
Maybe = Table, Court
YES = Crown

*So I think crown is a for sure. But open for debate if you want. However, I think we should put off the other one for a second.*

RUST (need 1):
In order, this has to be Nut->Time->Spot. None of the other words fit from what I can tell. So, I would leave this until the end as well.

ATTACK (3?):
100% Missile  - should be our first guess
Then the other words that can be attack-y = Aztec, Thief, Scorpion?

yeesh we are in a bad spot.

I think we should do Missile, followed by Crown, and then take a closer look at the clues. I can start doing that now. LMK what you think of Missile and Crown.

OOE:

Blue 1 = CRASH: 4; Death, Engine, Helicopter (then we did Piano, probably the last)
Red 1 = Ballroom: 3; Dance (then we guessed Piano, which was blue)

End of round 1 this was the grid:
DEATHAZTECENGINEMISSILECOURT
NUTPIZZATHIEFHELICOPTERHOLE
TIMETABLECLOAKRULERSCORPION
PIANOSQUAREPANCALFLUCK
SPOTDANCECROWNFORESTIRON

* So yeah I think we guessed their 4th with Piano. And I think our other words for Ballroom are CROWN and something.

Blue 2 = Chieftain: 2; Ruler, then passed.
Red 2 = Rust: 2; Iron, then Pan is Neutral

Grid after Round 2:

DEATHAZTECENGINEMISSILECOURT
NUTPIZZATHIEFHELICOPTERHOLE
TIMETABLECLOAKRULERSCORPION
PIANOSQUAREPANCALFLUCK
SPOTDANCECROWNFORESTIRON

*K. So they got 1 more to hit on Chieftain. We have 1 more on Rust, and 2 more on Ballroom.

Blue 3 = Elves: 3; Forest, Cloak, Pass
Red 3 = Attack: Infinite

We be here:

DEATHAZTECENGINEMISSILECOURT
NUTPIZZATHIEFHELICOPTERHOLE
TIMETABLECLOAKRULERSCORPION
PIANOSQUAREPANCALFLUCK
SPOTDANCECROWNFORESTIRON

I think they have all of their CRASH words.
I think their last Chieftain word Aztec.
I think their last Elves word is Time, Thief, or Luck.

Missile (attack 1/4)
Crown (ballroom 2/3)
Nut (Rust 2/2)
Scorpion (attack 2/4)

From there it gets more complicated. but what do you think of that order?

Also what do you think for their Elves ?

The one thing it does sound like we are opposite on is Aztec v Missile.

I think Aztec is a stay away and Missile is a gimme. We can start elsewhere if you want?

Oops, you're tight on numbers, we only need 6 total, so 3 attacks.

Yeah, I missed Aztec for Chieftain, that makes sense. I'm not convinced Piano was their 4th crash, I actually thought Missile is theirs...

But both of those could be Attack, of course.

I guess Missile has to be attack right? But I still prefer Scorpion as my top Attack.

And time for rust is really good. I like that significantly more than nut. I also (still) really like table for ballroom.

So my top 3 for each of our clues are:
SCORPION, TIME, TABLE

Are there any of those you're with which ok with starting?

If so, lock them in.

You can probably convince me on Missile, too.

I still am curious of the strong connection between crown and ballroom. (i had that as a weak connection, but you seem high on it). Can you explain it?

Because if it our word and so are the other 4, we'd only actually need one more after that.

ok so we at a weird junction between you and I on a lot of the word picks.

To start. We agree on Scorpion. your number 1, my number 2. So that is good.

So, we will lock in Scorpion

crown is royalty is banquets is dancing is ballrooms etc. But also Table could be fine. and we need more than one.

I absolutely do not think that we would of got ATTACK as a word with missile on the table. I would very much like to go with Missile next.

Time and Nut I am fenced on. I agree it is a great clue for it, so we can go for it if you want.

It pretty much comes down to Time v Nut or Crown v Table.

I would prefer to go missile, then table, then if you really really want time over nut go time and take it from there.

I agree without any context Attack easily points to Missile. But I could also imagine when in desperation mode to  give a clue that could point to the other team's word hoping the guessers skip it because they think it is the other team's.

But like I said, Missile is so much Attack though, we should go for it.

I'm ok with Missile -> Table -> Time if Scorpion is correct.
