Honestly, this makes me feel a lot worse about galz. Not for the vote, but for asking the question right then. If town!swowl, scum knew there were two 1 point claims and that getting 1 to claim would force the 1v1. If momentum was fading away from a town!mix wagon, what better way to control where it goes than to force a 1v1 between two town prs?
Not so sure. I mean, momentum was swinging towards you anyways, and this would only cement your exile, but then during the Night town would have enough time to think and figure out that Swowl is actually town.

Yeah, I know it was, and I was kind of leaning into it a little bit. I knew that if I was wrong and it’s town!mix, if I just kept pushing eventually scum would see the opportunity to move away from MiX to save him for later as I looked scummier. I only thought I could pull that off because I assumed there was only one unclaimed PR left, me. So if mix isn’t red, the people who started pushing towards me are scummy.
If MiX is red, that's also true, because he was one of those people  ;)

This is true, but let’s be real, OMGUSing me there has to be NAI at best lol

I’ll be totally honest though, if it was one of the two of us that had to get exiled before we figured this out, it’s probably better that it was me. I had Robz and Space so wrong that Space was my mind warp target N1... They both said things that would have made it harder for me to defend myself than what I probably would have been able to do, so me going now is probably good since I dont have the IC card that I thought I held. MiX, scola, and maybe EFHW for the way they came in and pushed away from mix. Could have been towny though. I don’t know.

I just woke up. Did Dylan get hammered and didn't claim scum?

Because if so then like, yeah. Okay. I'll read the thread though.

Oh what the fuck is this game. What in the actual hell. What is this. Fake CC doubleclaim because scum picked 5 instead of 6?

Someone's trolling us right? Scum's just laughing. Just...what...

My head...this is not how I wanted to wake up...

I read the setup now, there's absolutely nothing there that states scum can pick less than their points.

"4. The Villians are told which hero roles are in the game and have 24 hours to pick their own powers from their pool (no duplicates allowed). If they fail, the moderator will randomly assign them powers based on what village roles exist (i.e. no Thanos if its strong kill can't be utilised)."

There's actually zero mention of how points dictate what scum can pick, therefore the only conclusion I can take from this is that scum has the same limitation as town, ergo the number of points they have must match the roles they picked just like town:

"3. The Heroes are then randomly assigned roles whose combined worth equals their ascension points."

Therefore it's absolutely impossible that Dylan/Swowl contain 2 town if the setup was done correctly.

I'm willing to duel the mod for this. Either way we win. Good job everyone.

You can exile all of us, but if this game is fucked then we won't win by doing that.

I take away a different read than MiX, namely that scum absolutely doesn't have to burn all their points.

Currently reading a Haunted Village game to see setup discussion...if anyone has any better ideas, bring them up before the thread's locked. If Dylan's town, we need to know if Swowl is mechanically confirmed as scum or not.

Mod, do the villains have to spend all their ascension points??

No.

We can discuss this more after the game is done, but to put it simply, town has no choice in what PRs they get, but scum does. I as the mod cannot decide that town only wants to spend less than its given number of ascension points, but scum does have that choice.

Well, this is obviously an overreaction, but it definitely flips this game upside down and we most likely lose, since we need to exile me and Swowl out of mechanics.

Still.

We need to exile Swowl for conflicting Dylan, and we need to exile me for having a guilty result. So, we lose.
