Maybe this way, if there was a mistake,  the game won't be forfeit.

I do too, but swowl pointed out the math so quickly with the counter that I just don’t think that’s a mistake they made, which leaves me with mod error or you lying as the only two things that make sense, and I don’t think there’s any way you’re lying.

Let’s face it, if I was hammered like I think I was and I was scum, I would drop it and say gg, because there’s nothing left to fight for at this point.

I have re ran the math because I could not believe that Dylan would mess that up?

but yeah....

skum gets -3 from Town

We have for sure 5 points on Skum.

Town has 8.

We have 7 points claimed plus me.

Game.

I'm wondering if there was a mod error, because I was just rechecking the math too...

Mod, can you confirm that there was no error in setup?

There was no error in the setup.

Vote count + possible flip in the morning.

OMG. THIS GAME.

I couldn't sleep, trying to understand how either Dylan or Swowl made such a monumental error in claim vs counterclaim - and then it hit me:

What if scum didn't use all their points???

I just checked the setup, and this is what it says:

Quote
"The Villians are told which hero roles are in the game and have 24 hours to pick their own powers from their pool (no duplicates allowed).

It never specifically says they have to use up all their points.

Mod, do the villains have to spend all their ascension points??

Wait, but that either means they didn’t use all their points and swowl is telling the truth, or they figured that eventually if they claimed more than the supposed max that they or someone else would come up with that excuse to avoid being exiled on the back half of the 1v1, which means swowl could still be scum.

Swowl isn't scum though, in part because MiX is.

Honestly, this makes me feel a lot worse about galz. Not for the vote, but for asking the question right then. If town!swowl, scum knew there were two 1 point claims and that getting 1 to claim would force the 1v1. If momentum was fading away from a town!mix wagon, what better way to control where it goes than to force a 1v1 between two town prs?

Not so sure. I mean, momentum was swinging towards you anyways, and this would only cement your exile, but then during the Night town would have enough time to think and figure out that Swowl is actually town.

Yeah, I know it was, and I was kind of leaning into it a little bit. I knew that if I was wrong and it’s town!mix, if I just kept pushing eventually scum would see the opportunity to move away from MiX to save him for later as I looked scummier. I only thought I could pull that off because I assumed there was only one unclaimed PR left, me. So if mix isn’t red, the people who started pushing towards me are scummy.

So MiX, I still think you are scum, but sorry for acting so laser focused on you. I know that framer could have hit you (still don’t think it necessarily did, but maybe), so I was looking to see who else it could be through reactions. Galzy kind of threw that off by asking that question right when he did a little bit though.  No hard feelings?
