vote: chairs. Fragrant excuse.  I'm phone posting.  It's no big deal to check my word list when posting.  mail-mi makes a good point about casting out the right kind of scum. Townpoints?

@scolapasta,  if you are town, then this was the exact right time to claim. Not earthquake level news, maybe, but important nonetheless.

I disagree that scum would counterclaim.  Like you said, they're doing well. So no need to take risks.

Would scum quickhammer? I don't think so. They aren't in danger and don't have a guaranteed win at the same time that POE is so tight that any scummy behavior can tip the balance towards their being cast out tomorrow.

If you are lying,  town should absolutely counterclaim.

So are you newbie or trying to preempt a scum counterclaim.  My stomach hates being so suspicious!

My thought is they might quickhammer pre my claim. And I think there was enough suspicion around me that they could have sold it to the hungry masses, feed their hunger for an exile.

Which I why maybe it could have been better to wait for E-1? Get one more scummy person on my wagon?

What happens if game gets down to 1 scum of each team left standing?

We need to confront the truth - there are 6 players and 3 are scum. Assuming scola isn't counterclaimed, from my perspective only one out of the remaining 4 players is town.

Didds, is there a reason behind your vote or are you just playing the odds?

Playing the odds. And well, you are always scum. Everyone knows this. :)

My guesses that the townfolk are scola (if no one c/claims him), me, and either yams or Joseph.

So, my baddies are EFHW, chairs, and yams or Joseph

The lid isn't on, though. Chairs is an equally suitable target, I think, but I was following scola's lead.

Good question. My guess is that they both win, but the more seasoned folks will know better than I.

Since they would both have the ability to kill, the game would continue. Endgames only happen when one scum team controls both voting and nks, and here they would control neither. (I used my word. Which one do you think it was?)

Sorry, I misread the question and was imagining some town still alive. Since they would shoot each other to death at night, I guess it's either a tie or no one wins.

Hm.

I think chairs is more likely MiX's partner than EFHW is, though I think I'd be good with shooting either with a laser. Probably joseph or WCD is the other townie than me.

Consider this an intent to hammer EFHW

Okay so, I've been reviewing the current situation and here's where we do the Weird Thing, where I use my power to put one team on the throne or the other.

I am going to confirm I am MiX's partner.

Town: If you lynch me, Team Werewolf wins.

Wolves: If you don't NK me (assuming EFHW is your partner) and I manage to not shoot you, we can tie this game tomorrow by no lynching and shooting town.

unvote for now. Do you realize that you risked losing outright by being quicknixed? I guess you assumed I was a werewolf, which I am not.

I'm hopeless. My post had steam worked in great and then I edited it and deleted it. Sorry town. My next mistake I get modkilled. But don't steam me, we'll lose even faster that way!

Chairs, huh? Interesting.

So, town can only win if we take out a wolf?

I think exiling EFHW still makes the most sense since she is my biggest WW read, by several orders of magnitude.

Joseph, yams.... interested in that hammer or is there a better route?

what is it with claiming mafia in games nowadays? back in my day, the mafia stayed hidden and the officer of the game found them out!

I think our best bet is going to be EFHW, though WCD is next on my list. vote: EFHW

Everyone knew what the headline would say, although it was not with satisfaction.  This dump seemed very unlawful; this choke was a tragedy.  It would correspond with the death of the popular, or the strength of a comment.

Final Day 3 Vote Count

EFHW (4): chairs, scolapasta, WestCoastDidds, mail-mi
Not Voting (2): Joseph2302, EFHW

Wth 6 alive, it took 4 to lynch.

EFHW has been lynched!  See was Mainstream, the Vanilla Townie.

NIGHT 3 START

Night 3 will end Thursday, July 2 at 11:30 AM Forum Time.

At this site, when they decided to dictate the dead, the town was suddenly aloof.  They didn't even have to extort any of the baddies, on both opposite sides!  One of them got his tongue stuck on the ice, and then he couldn't eat his pudding and died.  Nobody even pointed a finger at him.  The other one had claimed to be an excavator, but his digging was barely visible.  It was quite shallow.

chairs has been killed!  He was Tongue, the Mafia Goon.

mail-mi has been killed!  He was Excavation, the Werewolf.

DAY 4 START

Vote Count 4.1

Not Voting (3): Joseph2302, WestCoastDidds, scolapasta

With 3 alive, it takes 2 to lynch.

Day 4 will end Thursday, July 9 at 11:30 AM Forum Time.

Holy guacamole! A baddie blood bath!

I can’t believe I was so wrong about EFHW. Many apologies! (Oh! Almost forgot my word....good thing we’re flexible)

It has to be vote: Joseph then. I had he and yams in the same grouping of people, but hadn’t really guessed they were partners (I thought it was either of them with EFHW).

If this is an epic Scola fake claim, good game dude. You win.

Well, this is going to be interesting. Didds will vote for Joseph (check), Joseph will vote for Didds (pending), and I get to decide.

Unless the real mason shows up.

Yep. And I know, it’s the worst! I am terrible in the position. And it’s usually with LaLight who is freaking amazing.

I want us to win so I hope you make the choice infused with grace.

The best argument I can make is the aloofness of Joseph’s play. Hanging around, but just barely. The opposite of scum hunting. I’m choosing to trust you so I did a cursory reread, and there’s not much there. Which is only scummy in its absence of scumminess...just below the radar.

Anyway, this is all you. Godspeed!

The headline is somewhat true, I haven't done much
But this theme is restrictive in actually producing helpful content

Didds was third on that last mislynch, and her partner was fourth on that mislynch. That should be obvious that that was the only way that quickhammer based on bullshit mon cases happened

Scola was on the mis-X, too....because we thought EFHW was scum. Not a minor point. You weren’t off of the wagon because you thought it was bad (or at least you never articulated it as such)...you were off because you weren’t around. I’m not sure yams was a quick hammer, so much as just a hammer. Since you’re the other WW, so he didn’t have much choice after the chairs reveal. I think it’s far more likely you stayed off wagon, and your buddy was on than y’all risking a new wagon that might hit one of you.

I own my part in the EFHW mid-X, it wasn’t scummy, it was mistaken.

I trust Scola here, no way Joseph is town.
