Gum - Crown - I was too cute here, I was thinking to go Tooth, and then went one more abstraction away. I didn't see any other connection, so thought you'd eventually get here.
That is exactly the mistake I made in the first game. The problem is that it is not a good kind of complexity, because it is as hard for your own team as for us.

Collectively, we have all been too cute with the clues considering that 3 of the 4 games ended by 2 miscommunications.

jotheonah, can you explain your bebop clue?

Oh, as someone suggested, it was a reference to Cowboy Bebop. One of the three main characters is named Spike. I was thinking it's widely-known enough that it was a good bet one of you would have seen it ... oops.

If you're a fan of scifi, I would highly recommend the show, even if you're not that into anime. It's funny, fun, smart, visually stunning, and the soundtrack is like nothing you've ever heard.

Ooh, I should run Cowboy Bebop mafia, with some kind of bounty mechanic.

Was cauliflower for "cauliflower ear"? I only saw that once I googled after game end.

Yeah, talking to Swowl that’s what he intended. I had never really heard the term.
