Hey guys!

Playing the quarantine mafia last time I had an idea to have a video/voice call with you guys just to talk/share news/show off our cats/dogs and maybe even play Mafia if we're brave enough!

Is some time like Saturday convenient to you? About 12am UTC or around?

OMG I was just having exactly the same thought. Here's my concept: 2 Zooms and a Boom. I'm pretty sure you could run a game of 2 rooms and a Boom over Zoom using the breakout room feature, if we could get 6 or more people interested!

what's a Boom? I was thinking just modtexting people what they have and have them talk and all that. All the secret messages in text

Is 12 am 7 PM Central? If so, probably works for me...although next weekend is better than this weekend, but its not a huge deal

Card sharing and revealing might be hard, but might be doable using the chat function.

I've run a few Mafia games over Zoom with a few friends and its definitely possible/fun. Especially with utilizing the breakout rooms to allow Mafia to chat during the night phase

Would you have players formally announce when they want to card/color share with someone? I'm guessing so...I also wonder if you'd want to let players chat privately with each other too. IIRC when we use to run 2R1B on the forums many moons ago you could but had to announce you were doing so in the QTs or something.

My main criteria is that it's fun, my family will like it, and you don't need to signup or buy anything to play. I guess a few "make an account" websites are on the list, but that's nothing my mother will ever do, so I stopped searching those out.

Ah, it's tomorrow? I thought midnight Saturday UTC meant it was in ~2 hours' time.
