A 1-card Combo

The card in Dominion that makes me happy is the Farming Village. The very existence of this card makes other cards much, much better.

Know all those terminal actions that are great because they're terminal? Goons, Wharf, Torturer, Witch, Council Room? With FV(aided by some trashing), these cards become Spamming Horses. Some cards become game-breakers:

Courtyard:Drawback? No drawback here. Play FV, then CY, putting a victory card back on the deck. Play FV again.

Envoy : Yowza, becomes a Sophie's Choice for your opponent(with some trashing, it quickly builds a fearsome engine)

Steward: Trash what you don't want, draw 2 more cards with the Actions you're piling up.

Bridge: No commentary necessary.

Comments?

It's not a 1-card combo if you need a powerful terminal to combo with it. Any village can combo with powerful terminals, Farming Village does it better than some (most?) because of it's additional power, but all non-vanilla villages have some kind of difference because otherwise they wouldn't be a new card, and the power of their differences are balanced by their costs. So I'm not really sure what you're trying to say here other than "Villages let you play multiple terminal actions". That's pretty obvious.

I get what the OP is saying, and I agree.  Besides Fishing Village, Farming Village is the best of the villages for combo decks.  I'd say better than Fishing for cursing setups.  This card is great for the end game, clearing out the vp;  it combos great off of Hunting Party and Scrying Pool, although it escapes me how it turbo boosts those decks to the extent it does; in chapel decks the thing is insane.

I played turboRemake earlier against a guy who flew out to a 3 Province lead before I distilled my deck to 4 Farmings, a Remake, 2 Pirate Ships and 2 Tributes.  Fortunately for me, he had happy feet and his deck was on the borderline stall anyway.  By the end I was getting $11 per pirate ship.

There is, by definition, no such thing as a 1-card combo.  The examples you posted would work equally well with literally any other +Actions, and often better.

To power combinations of cards, as well as powerful terminals, what other +Action card is nearly as good? That was my point.

And thanks for being pedantic about "1-card combo."  ???

Village, Worker's Village, Walled Village, Mining Village...

If this thread is supposed to be a troll, you probably shouldn't have mentioned Courtyard since Farming Village/Courtyard is actually a mildly interesting combo.
