Sorry we let you down, Awa!

Well, I was hoping that you would guess berry, but Erebor was just an act of desperation anyway. This was just a very difficult board for blue, I can't think of a way we could have had a realistic chance of winning.

Hmmm. Not greatly familiar with the mythos, but I seem to recall her being a thief.

Not really. Halle Berry won a Razzie for playing her, which doesn't help us in the least.

I have some ideas for their missing words for catwoman, but we should avoid giving them any hints.

Could it be dance and bear for circus ? A dancing bear is a circus act, although I recall a bear on a bike also being one and cycle is there, so not sure. Can't find any obvious circus related clues, like lion/tent/show, so Didds could have gone for the "combined word assosiation" of hinting for a single concept made of two words that only would really occur in a circus.

I don't think the clue for dance + bear would be circus, but bear or dance could be options individually I guess.

There's life and grace, if we think of the ancient Roman circuses where losing gladiators could have their life spared or not, depending on whether the emperor was merciful (I'm not sure if that's actually historically accurate, but that's a mental image that a lot of people have). That's the best I can think of.

Well, on the bright side (for us at any rate), it looks like this board is difficult for both teams.
