feel like Braves could have been both for India (since braves are Native Americans that have been called Indians) and South, since the Atlanta Braves are in the South.

That said, not sure Finns like American baseball.

Jam and honey you could explain so many different ways (sweet, sweetener, sticky, edible, etc), I think if they are both correct (I'm worried about honey), the last word would be the reason Awaclus chose this exact clue. I just can't think of a good connection for any of the words.

For jam - honey - berry, I don't think the clue is "toast", more likely something to do how they are all edible, sweet things.

I think it's for the best if I take a break from Mafia for a while. These past few games, it has been hard to find the motivation to play well.
