My vote for googling continues to be: I'd be ok with googling if you honestly don't know what a word means. Maybe instead of generic google, use of merriam-webster dictionary, then?

or fine with no googling.

I think we stuck with no googling then, since that is the status quo. I have a real life dictionary, but I think online dictionaries are not “googling” so assume people use them when they don’t know what a word means.

Interesting, I always associated "googling" with any sort of looking up. As I said, I'm ok with this.

I was thinking about the dictionary/thesaurus appended to my word processing programs....
