I’m super curious but I have a hard time seeing where speculating gets us. Why no one died last night is a piece of info that scum wants way more than town does. Let them speculate in their QT.

Also today was insane for me at work (Cyber Monday when you basically run an online store, yay!) so I should have more time the rest of the week.

I think town!Glooble pointing to something as a scum tell and then shortly thereafter doing that thing is a lot more likely than scum!Glooble doing that.

Yeah, no nightkill is good business, and probably somebody knows exactly why, and I trust them to say it at the right time.

I’m super curious about what happened last night but maybe it’s too early to share such things? I don’t know but I feel like the stall is never any good for town, ya know?

What are you thinking would be fun?

Yeah, I don't know how to take it. I'd like to be hopefully and think somebody stopped a kill but I'm suspicious. I suppose we should lunch, seems like the popular thing to do.

Glooble, what is your online store??  It the week before finals for me so it’s a sea of stressful energy that rubs off on me!

I’m not so much interested in speculating about why there was no night kill (I have a guess on that one), but I’m curious about what kinds of cool things might have happened. Or anything else that might get us moving, really.

I agree, I don't think now is the right time for protective roles to come forward but maybe if we've got a good cop result? Or we could just repeat RVS and see what happens.

There is not much to be gained from a VCA pov from this last day. As the flip was third party.

It should be noted that skum would be equally likely to be on an SK as a Town player, but the way the Glooble wagon went, I am not confident at all in say something like "Glooble was Skum so the wagon moved to Mail Mi" in defense.

With the SK down, I think it is most likely that skum targeted either Glooble or MiX after the claim and they were protected by someone.

I am gonna look into it more, but there isn't exactly a ton to go off of from my pov at this point.

This is not true, as has been pointed out:

For scum it'a a mislynch, so there's meaningful VCAs.

I'm not sure why we're discussing the Night's events at all. Scum seems to often enjoy feigning ignorance over Night actions, but absent some kind of claimed result, I don't think there's anything to be gained by trying to guess.

I also said exactly that. I just disagree that it renders relevant VCA. SK being lynched vrs Town being lynched is the same thing when looking at it from the pov of Mafia.

Do you think he was speaking specifically? I read it as speaking generally.

”Alright, it’s getting late, let’s do a final vote by show of hands. 1, 2, 3... 4, 5, 6... ok, that seems like enough, let’s lynch mail-mi!”

Immediately the kind and gregarious citizens of town have murder in their eyes. They descend on mail-mi and strongarm him to the noose.

“No please, I don’t even live here!” he shouts. “I’m a commuter! I have a train to catch!”

But the bloody knife that falls out of his jacket is enough to convince the town to carry on.

Vote Count 1.10

mail-mi (6): WestCoastDidds, Galzria, Awaclus, Glooble, Jimmmmm, MiX
Glooble (3): shraeye, mail-mi
MiX (1): raerae

Not voting (1): DatSwan

With 10 alive, it took 6 to lynch.

mail-mi has been lynched. He was an Enabled Commuter Serial Killer.

THREAD LOCKED

Because of the holiday, and also possibly just as the new norm going forward, night will last 48 hours rather than 24. Night actions will be accepted until I calculate them, but please get them in an hour before night’s end to guarantee processing.

I don’t think VCA is completely useless.

Glooble is either Town, or he’s scum (or he’s third party, but for this he would be considered Town):

If he’s town, then scum literally didn’t care where they were. On him, on Mail-Mi, not voting, whatever.

If he’s scum though, then I would expect Mail-Mi’s wagon to be crawling with scum.

So really, I think without knowing Glooble’s alignment at this time, the value in VCA comes from what you believe his alignment to be.

I'm not sure why we're discussing the Night's events at all. Scum seems to often enjoy feigning ignorance over Night actions, but absent some kind of claimed result, I don't think there's anything to be gained by trying to guess.

Who's guessing? I think we've all come up the same conclusion you just did.

My point was it doesn't need to be discussed at all at this stage. Although I supposed I only added to the discussion.
