Fun game I just had as a noob went according to plan

So I'm just getting into the strategy beyond mindlessly playing this as the incredibly fun game it is and just had a really cool game where everything went according to plan, 13 turn win: 

1 $4 for silver 

2 $3 for silver 

3 $6 for Donate trash everything but silvers 

4 $4 for Page 

5 $4 for Silver, Page to Treasure Hunter

6 $6 for gold, Page is Warrior

7 $8 for Prince

8 Prince my Warrior and $8 for Province

9 - 13 Provinces

Nice, yeah donate + travellers is great. How did you prince your warrior and still have 8 for province?
