UrbanintheUnderverse:
Is it appropriate to post screenshots of a chat between myself and my opponent from a recent game?  Part of me says no... but this player had a serious meltdown - snide remarks and angry outbursts, sprinkled with profanity - and I want to reveal it.

UrbanintheUnderverse:
If posting screenshots of a chat are a faux pas, I guess I could always just paste the text of the chat with the opponent's name redacted.

Burning Skull:
Please redact the name ...and bring 'em on!!!

Chappy7:
I get some strange satisfaction out of reading these kinds of things....so I'd be happy if you posted it. It's funny to see people melt down over one online game.

UrbanintheUnderverse:
Alright, below is the link to a sequence of screenshots along with some commentary, including the list of kingdom cards, in certain places where extra explanation could be helpful.  I'll unabashedly admit that I was taking a lot longer on my turns than my opponent was on their turns.  I'm very experienced with Dominion, Intrigue, Seaside, Prosperity, and Dark Ages.  I have very limited exposure to the other expansions.  In this game I tried to be deliberate and methodical in strategizing - long-term and hand-to-hand - in order to minimize my chance of overlooking combinations, subtleties, nuances, etc.

My opponent resigned in the middle of their turn, after getting what was presumably an unsatisfactory Margrave draw.  The turn count was in the mid-teens, I think.  My opponent was harboring a 5-10 point deficit and at least 4 debt due to gaining a City Quarter on the previous turn.  Sadly, I can't give all of these details with perfect accuracy because I can't review the post-game board.  I don't have the subscription for all of the expansions.

I had purchased Provinces on two of my last three turns, I think, and I was consistently drawing my deck each turn.  I was getting +3-7 draw (and +3-4 actions) at the start of each turn due to Haunted Woods and Ghost Towns.  This was practically negating my opponents' Margrave and Villain attacks.  I was getting more +draw from Margrave and Secret Passage.  I was getting more +action and Villagers from Border Village and Patron, respectively.  I was getting +coins and Coffers from Patron and Villain, respectively.  I was trashing/gaining with Altars.  My opponent's deck's prospects were grim in comparison, probably largely due to a snowball effect caused by a prolonged neglect of Haunted Woods on a board heavy with hand-size attacks.  I would argue that haste was my opponent's Achilles' Heel.

So there you have it.  Hopefully this is coherent enough, despite my description being divided between this post and Imgur.  Please excuse any typos.  This process was exhausting.
