That's an incredibly scummy and self-serving position to take. Town rarely calls themselves the most obv!town player in the game.

Regardless, my point wasn't whether or not you were townie, or had done townie things, it was that you were not - and are not - in any way an IC at this point, nor should you be treated as such. This may change, of course - if we end up with only 3 claims then yes, you are an IC, as are the other two claimants. Likewise if one more person claims town results on faust, then the single scum result will be an IC cop. That's how these results work. That's the point of the claims.

Nobody has IC status right now, and it's premature to credit anybody with that status.

Nice shading you get there. I am saying this stuff as any alignment in every game. There was a game where chairs was even annoyed by that.

Wait did Datswan already claim?

No,  but he's the last person and we only have 2 claims. That makes him the insane cop with a guilty result on faust. The other two are sane cops with their confirmed town results.

Absolutely incorrect. I stand by what I was saying - claim order could have screwed us if the traitor happened to be late in the claim order. We got lucky that it worked out. Doing freeform claim or a popcorn claim would have put pressure on the traitor no matter when they claimed, rather it relying on RNG.

Assuming our reads (town, everybody) in general are above random (and I should hope that they are), then yes, a popcorn claim in order of highest scum read will serve town with better results overall than going by anything pure random over a large enough sample size. Here, the results could not have worked out better, so the point is moot.

Agreed the point is moot - except that it undermine's Gkrieg's "coaching traitor" accusation and vote on me.

Am I correct in taking the following:

"Each night, you may visit one person. That player will investigate as a city for that night."

To mean that scum cannot reverse results on themselves?

If a Sane Cop (e, LaLight) gets a scum result, then either they have scum or a framed player.

However if an Insane Cop gets a TOWN result, they know that they've found scum, correct? There is no variable?
