oh look faust is dead. unfortunate.

I am still super wanting to continue with the plan though. I think we should make a claiming list somehow. (idc how really) and have people claim if they are cops or not. then if there is an extra cop or 2 or whatever randomly mix them around and have them claim results so that scum can't just easily claim last and get the hardest scenario for us to deal with.

I still think cops claiming is the correct choice even if they all didn't target faust but I'm hoping they all did.

I'll also say Dsell. Quicklynches are not the norm for sure. but they do happen randomly sometimes.

I am going to be gone for ~5ish hours but I really want answers from those I called out in my first couple posts. Thanks, Robz. This felt really icky to me but I appreciate hearing your reasoning.

Yeah I'm all for going forward with the plan. It sucks that we only had like a day for discussing the plan and now faust who came up with it is dead.

I guess signup order is the standard way of getting an unbiased claiming list when nobody's an IC.

Y'all quicklynched ON MY DRIVE HOME. Quicklynches have ALWAYS been a bad idea? Is this where 4 years of mafia experience have led? That was a bad quicklynch.

Annoyed at Robz for suggesting, annoyed at e for hammering.

Gkrieg, why did you think an immediate lynch was a good idea?

Tbh I'm still suspicious of Galz - he got off the wagon which he may have known would eventually come under a lot of scrutiny.

Iguana I really love waterfalls so thank you for those.

I know I have had initial gut reads that I second guess over and over and then turn out to be scum in the end after I defend them.  I had the opportunity to force a lynch through based on initial gut reads and I decided to take it.  It definitely changes the dynamic of the game and holds people accountable for their votes.

I am not so sure about a claim order. If we let it happen freeform there is a lot of pressure on the traitor if they choose to claim. Claiming early means they could claim the wrong alignment and set up a 3-1. But claiming late puts extra suspicion on them.

If we do claim order, they could randomly, luckily, and safely get to claim 3rd or last, robbing us of information.

thats kinda why I was thinking first we just claim cop or VT (or scum). then we do a 2nd claim of results so that if scum jumped in they don't know if they can get an easy alignment claim to confuse us.

Ok I'm about to be gone for real for like 4 hours but if people start claiming DO NOT ANNOUNCE ANY ALIGNMENT RESULTS ON YOUR TARGET. Yet.

I didn't think an immediate lynch was a good idea, I thought we would get some good reactions from people while he was at L-1.  I didn't think that we would get no reactions from a hammer right after.

Claim order for role claims is fine. I strongly oppose a claim order for supposed cops claiming their alignment results, for reasons I've already given.

Popcorn claim? 1st on signup starts (or some other arbitrary person),
claims, and names the next person to claim and so forth?

Tbh I'm still suspicious of Galz - he got off the wagon which he may have known would eventually come under a lot of scrutiny.

Would that be the Gkrieg wagon I was RVS'ing, or the Robz wagon I solo-voted before unvoting because I hadn't bothered to actually make a case?

ok I am typing something up but first thing that pops to mind is hell no to both Galz and Awaclus ordering ideas and skum points X100 to both for them.

Both 12 and 13 have flipped VT and Awaclus is 3 and Galz is 2 (Awaclus point)
Popcorn is horrible here because it dictates more strength to skum the more players are in the game - and it is Day 2.

Claim should be done in the order of the Sign Ups - but it should be random dice role, obv done in public forum and then we go low to high or high to low. I wanna say that I trust everyone enough not to cheat like a pathetic meaningless POS. But if not, then we should random dice role for a player to be elected to be the random dice roller and then have them role in order - and then still assign low to high or high to low.
Both of these ideas give a more neutral chance. The latter of the ideas has the added value of being able to know who we need to kick if they cheat - though again, I don't think anyone here would.

Wow the cop claim plan is extremely flawed to be pursued at this point.

FAUST FLIPPED TOWN!!!

So if you are a Cop, assuming you investigated Faust, you got one of the following results:

1) Faust is Town (which he was) - So you are sane.

2) Faust is Skum (which he isn't) - So you are insane.

There is a 0% reason for the cops to claim.

Someone correct me.
