Are there any plans to create a way of registering for Isotropic Dominion without having to sign up for either gmail or yahoo?

I realise that it doesn't take forever to get an account with one of these providers but it is still a barrier to players registering.

There is not.  Why wouldn't you be willing to register on Google or Yahoo, but be willing to register on Isotropic?  There's no "double registration"; as soon as you have a Google or Yahoo account you're ready to go on Isotropic.
