list your big nocturne secrets

i'll start

Ghost is good but it's so much work to get with either haunted mirror or exorcist. in the former case the fact that there's only one can be really painful. I'm just not sure ghost is worth it. Still, really good card.

Wishes on the other hand, man, that magic lamp.

I would say Night Watchman is closer to Cartographer than Scout. It discards unwanted cards, it doesn't put them into your hand.

Nightwatchman is closest to scouting party but a bit better. You can use it to topdeck cards you bought on your turn if you draw deck.

My big Nocturne secret: I don't have Nocturne because it hasn't been released in Dutch yet.

Maybe it's not a big secret, but so far every single game that I've played where Changeling has appeared there has been some cute trick that you could do with it.

Silver gainers

Hard-to-purchase Alchemy cards

On-gain effects for cards you don't actually want (IGG FTW.)

Careful with Blessed village, though. If you get any of the gaining boons, they cover up the BV and the lose-track rule means you can't exchange it for a Changeling.

Ghost is the new Golem

I keep forgetting Deluded and Envious are mutually exclusive!  First appearance of the double sided card!

I don't usually track the hexes, but I usually end up wishing I did.

Lie.

Ghost is the new Golem

Interesting.

Buy Shepard and victory cards.

Sometimes.

I don't usually track the hexes, but I usually end up wishing I did.

Probably.

True.

A well kept secret: Tracker is a lot better than you think.

If you open Silver/Night Watchman, it guarantees $5 on turn 3 ($6 on 4/3 opening). Potion/NW guarantees $4P. In general, your turn 3 hand is guaranteed to be your turn 1 hand with a card of your choice replaced with your turn 1 buy.

I don't think Scout does that.

This.

The ability to topdeck complementary cards, or even full-on combos, in a kingdom with extra gains/buys can be explosive; much more so than having to come up with a bunch of extra cash for Traveling Fairs.

Pulling Vampire from the Black Market deck means it can't be exchanged, so it never turns into a Bat. My opponent wasn't a fan of that move.

Ghost is really awful if you're drawing your deck.

Not if you buy action cards!

Watchtower is still the better way to do it.

Because you don't have to use an action, or because its reaction is also useful? Tracker has its advantages: It gives $1 or $2 in economy, and it comes pre-packaged with the +buy.

If you Exchange first you still get the Boon.
