☹ and then the Big Bad himself accuses someone else of having the role! Mafia got a bad break with schadd getting himself modkilled. Was I right that you got demoralized? The puzzle was super fun. All of the scum being pretty quiet meant we got to have a real feeling of town cooperation,  which was fun.

That move didn't make sense as Survivor, though, because it basically confirmed you as not town aligned. So it seemed like you'd only do it if it was a winning hammer, which with the numbers would have meant you needed a teammate.

I really could not get motivated to get into the puzzle once I saw that every solution was incorrect.

Reading the mod qt, I noticed that the colors for the mastermind game did not correspond with alignment categories as usually defined. Survivors and traitors having the same color seems pretty arbitrary and we would have no reason to assume or even guess that would be true.

I really could not get motivated to get into the puzzle once I saw that every solution was incorrect.
I'm disappointed now to realize that there was no way to anticipate how alignment would be defined. Funny how it pointed to Dylan anyway, though!

So now that this is over, I don't think there is a good reason why Space Alert shouldn't fill. We have run more complicated setups than that one in the past (in a way, this one is even more complicated), and in my estimate, it scores rather well in terms of cleverness and not-being-broken-ness.

So the only hurdle is that it's harder to understand, which is why I wrote a hopefully easier summary.

Since ash put his RMM on hold, I think mine would be next, but I need more time to work on it. SA should run first.

Plus we already were really close to starting. If everyone who finished this one just moves over, it can start tomorrow!

I disagree. It was an easy hammer on someone who everyone, including me, thought was non-town based on what turned out to be bad results.

I thought I would be hammering a fellow survivor. It didn't feel good but I expected it to take pressure off of me.

If you were non-town, then the puzzle should have shown me every other non-town player in the game, giving me a clear path to victory.

If you were town, then I expected that people would stop using the puzzle to try to scum hunt, and the results that were pointing toward me being non-town would be discarded.

I was pretty surprised when Space, EFHW and Haddock continued to use the puzzle as their primary means of scumhunting after we lynched you.

For Haddock & Space, I think they just very much believed that the Mastermind results were correct, to the extent that he didn't believe your results at all.

EFHW was against your lynch. Who else voted you? Jake?

Well it made it look like you were really worried about what I posted. If I it was someone else in my place and I was left over the next day, I'd feel like I had to lynch you.

I don't think I could have convinced myself to lynch you that day, anyway. I was pretty set on Chairs/Dylan. I also assumed (correctly) that there was one more Mafia, so it was still better to hit Mafia and then consider SK possibility.

You know what WW, you're right. Hammering you was a blunder. Should have pushed harder for Chairs/Dylan, and the game could have ended even sooner.

Seeing the number of people in the speccy who had me pegged as SK makes me feel really lucky and grateful that I did not get lynched that final day.
