I think probably time to stop telling people they are doing a bad job hunting and start doing some hunting yourself

A) I was pointing out something you were doing that was damaging to town if not given the proper caveats, because anyone not aware of quite how incomplete Skumpy's list of pairings was might accidentally forget to read scummy people.

B) My lists of reasoning about which people are scummy, and quoted vote evidence about e.g. why I find Andrew much less scummy now and why I think e's behaviour fits with a scum narrative, are exactly my methods of scum-hunting.

Just to be clear: I will be leaving my vote on e unless anyone posts a very powerful argument otherwise in the next 5 hours. After that I'll be asleep till after deadline, because late-night US-time deadlines are just impossible for anyone east of the Atlantic.

I don't think Andrew is a good lynch candidate for today because he and Teproc coincided on multiple wagons, and I haven't seen scum sheeping each other to that extent before.

I don't think an Awaclus flip is nearly as informative as as e flip, because we have a lot more interaction in e's case, and while I'm not counting right now (I'm just checking in here really quickly before leaving work for the night), I think e has moved his vote around more. In e's case, we have people accusing him and people who're less excited at his lynch. For Awaclus, I think nobody minds much, but those of us who've played more with him are more aware of how much his typical behaviour can infuriate and lead to an easy-ish mislynch wagon for scum to push.

So what does he do differently as scum? Saying someone is an easy mislynch doesn't make them town. And the wagon hasn't been pushed, that's the problem.

Again, not seeing the problem here. Why would one speed up the day when there's still time for discussion, no matter how pointless and fruitless?


But now it's sounding like I'm defending 2.7, which is not my intention. I'm fine with either Awaclus or 2.7 but the first is clearly not happening. And after quickly rereading 96 2.7 posts...this is a vote I was always fine with, and am fine with now. Rolefishing could be a shot to communicate with scum partner before inevitable doom. If you're going to find a scapegoat to get you off the chopping block, Awaclus is a good option. And I want to think faust is right when he said somebody townread me early, which is not something I'd expect from somebody who'd never played with me before.

Intent to do my first hammer at some point in the nearish future. I'll give 2.7 some final words.

I'm not a hammererer but a high hammer stat doesn't tell the whole story if hammers work out correctly for the most part. And I'm not too worried about the prospect of seeing my hammer stat going up in any event.
