Could somebody explain how opponent got ranked so high? Rank 56 player should know things like not buy knights when opponent buys only fools gold and ignore it in pure fg kingdom

there is simply not enough good players to make level 55 to be decent at the majority of kingdoms. They probably are just better than most of the people below them. Most 60+ people have to maintain a 75% win rate to keep their rating.

Also some people are not equally good with all cards/expansions/interactions. They may be really, really good with the expansions they own in person, for instance.
