Why do you say the traitor is unrecruited?  It's still possible that the traitor was recruited N1 and then both SK and mafia shot Andrew

Alternatively, the SK could have Commuted or something on N2.

No. Don't we know it's the SK with 1shot investigation immunity and BP and something else?

They can give up their kill to perform any PR

I got it in my head that it was one or the other, owing to the confusing way "2-Shot JOAT" in the rows/columns actually refers to the Mafia JOAT, not the 2-shot JOAT SK, who actually has three things. Carry on.

Lynch Eevee -> 6 p. Traitor can successfully block JK, no matter what they do (confirmed by LaLight). Only thing that needs to happen is SK and Traitor shoot two different townies, then we're at 4 alive, 2 scum.

yes, which is a losing situation for the traitor, so I have no clue why traitor!e would be pushing for that.  Makes no sense.  The SK can win here, but not mafia.  Actually, it is a kingmaker situation, which just sucks.

But the JKing should go through. It says that actions in the same level of the action resolution phase happen simultaneously

JK!you jails me and it blocks the kill that I would have inherited from regular mafia.....so only one kill will occur that night.
The rules are unclear about what happens here.

LaLight, which action takes precedence, the Jailkeeper or the Mafia Roleblocker?

In case if Roleblocker blocks Jailkeeper and makes the kill while being Jailkept, kill goes through.

It just means that they happen at the same time.  Either way, with conflicting actions, it should be town that gets precedence IMO.

From want to lynch to don't want to lynch, how do you rank eevee, robz, schadd, and myself?

I feel like we are at a point where we can just run in circles all day. And as much as everyone else says, it all comes down to who the two of you want to lynch. I would rather move the game forward and get a lynch done then sit around and do nothing for a while.

Vote: Eevee

It seems like this is the least stupid lynch. Eevee is for sure scum of some kind (although the kriegs can't know that), whereas lynching E could possibly be lynching the JK. I can't see us losing, really, if we lynch Eevee. Or at least the situation looks most favorable that way.

Thinking through the ruling on roleblocking some more....


Basically it boils down to the fact the we have to lynch the SK in order to win the game.  If we do not scum is guaranteed to have two kills tonight (unless they target the same person for the NK).  Doesn't matter if we lynch the goon or the traitor, goon will adopt RB, traitor will adopt kill.  Either way we have a mafia roleblocker and a SK alive tonight ready to kill people

One note for the SK: If we don't lynch you, tonight is your opportunity to kill the goon.  I will jailkeep him, and unless mafia doesn't want to kill someone, they will roleblock me.  It is risky because then you will be down to lylo and you could lose, but it is better than a kingmaking situation, where no one goes away happy.  Let me play this out a bit.  Other people, please check my work.

Lynch mafia (traitor or goon).  we go into night with 6 alive, 1 SK, 1 RB mafia.  Assume the RB and JK effectively negate each other, leaving scum (except possibly a still-BP SK) able to kill anyone and be killed themselves.

Lets remind ourselves of the win cons:
- Serial Killer wins when all other players have been eliminated. If a scenario exists where a Serial Killer and a Mafia the following will be followed:
   * If the Traitor is the last mafia alive, Mafia will win.
   * If either original mafia are the last mafia alive, the SK will win.

If SK and mafia kill two townies- 2 town, 1 mafia, 1 SK.  Does not meet the win con yet, we need a lynch.  Basically, town has to choose the winner - SK or mafia.  I hate this situation.  You should too.  You should want to win.

If SK and mafia kill the same townie (or scum shoots a still BP SK, or someone shoots kkrieg who commutes tonight, or whatever might cause only one town death)- 3 town, 1 mafia, 1 SK.  This is good for town, meh for the SK and the mafia.  We will be able to lynch scum and move on to lylo, where town hopefully prevails

If SK kills mafia and mafia kills town- 3 town, 1 SK.  mylo.  This is what a SK lives for.  Winning at mylo.  Unfortunately, I think towns chances of winning here are great, but still this is best case for the SK.


Ok, so not as terrible for town as I thought, but it is a grim situation for scum right now.  I can see SK or town winning if we lynch a mafia member (traitor or goon).

Still best if we lynch SK.

Little easier scenario:

Lynch the SK

scum performs their kill because they RB the JK, cancelling out those roles.

so tomorrow we have:

3 town 2 scum.  We lynch the known bad guy (myself or faust), then proceed to lylo with the last scum.  Pretty straightforward and actually a scenario that scum likes the best.
