In a 4p game, one person reminded everyone that Ruins get dealt out in turn order from the player who played the Cultist.  I told him you guys put out too many Ruins.  There's nothing that doesn't dole out exactly 3 Ruins per play, and there are no ways to individually block the Ruins.  They were supposed to use only 30, not all 50 of the Ruins.

-Taking treasures for virtual coins.

But my favorite is when a friend not only tried to convice me Kings Courting a Kings court plays an action 9 times,  ut insisted he had looked it up online and it had been confirmed.

Here, in Russia, in one official store there was a confirmation in FAQ that Throne rooming Throne Room allows you play an action 4 times. I contacted them and they fixed it.

I've dealt with most of the things people have mentioned already.

No, you can't shuffle yet.

No, don't discard that yet.

No, seriously, don't discard that yet.

You have to put that into play.

No, into play over there.

Some mistakes don't matter much when certain cards aren't in the kingdom (like showing treasures instead of playing them), but it's always fun to specifically use cards where these things matter (mint, bank, bonfire, et cetera). It's the best solution I've found. Then people are like "oooooh, so THAT'S why we're putting that over there at that moment".

AND NO SECRET CHAMBER DOES NOT STOP ATTACKS. Blue means reaction, not stopping attacks.

Both of those statements are wrong. Death Cart gains 2 Ruins when you gain it. And Moat, Trader, Lighthouse, and Champion can all individually block Ruins. Um, or did you just mean in that specific game?

Yes, this is why I wish there were a Reaction in the base game other than Moat. Either the main set could have two Reactions or Moat could be in another set, I'm not picky. But this is a really common misconception.
