c discards a Copper.
O reveals a Curse.
O topdecks a Curse.
c reveals an Estate.
c puts an Estate into their hand.
c plays a Copper and a Gold.
c buys and gains a Gardens.
c shuffles their deck.
c draws a Curse, a Copper, a Province and 2 Torturers.
This was fun, but while I won by a lot I feel like a lot of my decisions were suspect. Huge overpay on Masterpiece was awesome for Gardens, but while I'm pretty sure that'd be a good thing to go for eventually, I think I went for it too early, messing up my Vassal, SP, and KC.

Really not sure about Wharf or Torturer first. I had no Village at that point, so that's kinda a point for Wharf, but you also want discard/ curse attacks ASAP.

Another big thing that I'm really not sure about and that could've messed me up is w/ Scrying Pool, do you discard an opponent's crap card if you are sure you can play more deck-inspection attacks? I wanna get rid of it so I can get at the good cards, but as you can see towards the end I just gave my opponent some cycling, tho before that it helped so idk lol. Kinda a coin flip unless you're good at deck tracking.

Not too much else really, curious what other people think about the value of Mystic here. Would anyone ever get a Duchess but not just free w/ a Duchy?

Here pool looks bit slow and torturer looks be skippable. Priority is get kc-wharf and once it gets going you could discard your entire hand and still get normal turn. I don't expect that you could make significant impact with torturers before opponent gets his kc-wharf going unless he is hopelessly behind with his engine.

I would open minstrel/vassal as with minstrels vassal and mystic acts as conspirators to quickly hit 5 and 7 for kc/wharf.

Don't even think about Gardens until late into greening. You have way too much else to do.

I think you buy almost no Treasure on this board. I like Luser's Vassal / Minstrel opening so you can quickly hit Wharf / KC. You want as many of both of those as you can manage.

You probably have trouble finding time for Mystic with all the other stuff you could be getting instead at that price point. You'll have the Actions you need to sustain Vassals anyway, which are basically the same here but cheaper.

Scrying Pool is hard to justify here simply because you completely lack any trashing, but it's not like it's bad to have. Just kind of hard to get what essentially amounts to a Lab. Minstrel helps, though.

I think an early Torturer or two is actually good and not skippable here because it can stop some $5/$7 turns early and/or junk a little. Eventually you don't mind discarding your hand much, but that takes awhile to get to.

I feel really bad about missing KC+Wharf...it should be obvious.

Anyone want to discuss hypotheticals though? Like say Wharf was replaced with Goons. Or what if instead of Wharf, Mystic, and Wandering Minstrel there was Soothsayer, Mountebank, and...idk, Horn of Plenty. Or Sentry. I'm so bad at choosing what to buy!
