Hi,
for those, who want to create DOMINION-cards, i have made a template for kingdom-cards.
Asper inspired me to create a template from scratch. I hope you enjoy .

When opening in GIMP you see a summary.



I have made a typical example MARCO POLO to show the principle of layers in GIMP.
There are two folder in the template:
beginners: I have merged several layer so that you can easily build a new card. The two examples are built only by copying layers from this folder. „beginner” doesn't mean, that you can build a card in ten minutes but it is simple enough to get a nice result.
The plaines are normed with (768x1146px). You can add a black edge to get an optimal export file (f.i. png) for a print.
If you want standard (696x1074px) for your home printer, you can load into every simple grafic program and cut 36px at every egde.

The other folder for experts shows the layers before merging, means you can change the color of the banner and text area etc. individually.

treasure-reaction and ruin are prebuilt cards in the beginner folder „cards”.
victory-reaction is simple . You have to work in folder experts with folder banners top and folder cards (groups).

There are examples of several combinations. Normally you have to choose another banner top plain and another top text area.
I will have that in mind for an upgrade.
First try out expert/cards (group)/type1-type2 (groups) to understand the principle.

You can even do Shelters with it. Here are two examples:

yes i know,it's much fun to create new combinations.
BTW i will change der color of the text area of Action-Duration (a little bit darker). It's better for our eyes.
I wait until there are enough suggestions for an update.

I think I said this before, but those VP token icons are only used in ASS' newer German editions... I wait for the day they realize changing things for no reason at all is a stupid idea. Until then, if you are looking to do a complete template, if you have to keep the ASS icons around, it would be great to at least see the actual VP icons included, too. Especially on a non-German forum.

I have made a landscape template (english and german) for GIMP

I have to mention, that my templates are made for directly printing on 59mmx91mm-cards (original Skat-cards; Dominion).
You have to choose the full black background to export a png-file with 768x1146px. You can it upload f.i. to meinSpiel.

A little feedback: It seems that the band that says "Event", "State", etc. isn't cut out that well. Its background doesn't go all to the rim and there are some small holes in it. Also the layers in front of it have some dark spots showing up in fro t of them. As mentioned, I noticed this for Statey and Events, but probably it occurs on some others, too. Apart from that it still looks very neat

yes therefore i made version 3.1. - i hope it's ok now.
There are some other „bugs” (right part of the text area at bottom is a little bit shifted down (1 pixel)).
Please report other issues; i will correct. - best is to PM in german dominion forum.
The metal frame is a little bit complex because there are different colours which are not optimal for every text area color.
