Woooow!!! Man I forgot how fun mafia was. Great game played by scum and thanks so much to the mods for hosting.

Apologizes to space and cal I think at the end I had to much of a past with robz and ww and I was just finding them towny for that reason and you two felt so foreign to me, promise I'll get better at reading you once I get to know ya :)

I thnk I definitely wasn't going to lynch ww and I was probably going to make more arguments for robz being towny. I think even if we let the day play out we would have lynched space or me.

I PMed faust that Robz was lying right away.  I had mcmc as his partner, though.

My magic don't-lynch-me hypnotism only works on people in the game. Everybody in the speccy QTs are always like "OMG Y U NO LYNCH ROBZ".

Pretty proud of my Robzfuscation this game. Felt like I should have been so dead in the water after Eevee's hari kari.

Of course, we were probably going to win anyway because WW did a great job not being associated with me.

Is there a speccy for this one that we can see now? I'm also curious to read what the scums were saying! Also happy to share my QT too, though I'd better wait for faust's say-so.

I think WW deserves MVP -- no offense to Robz -- for his super-duper under the radarness.

in the event of a robz lynch, i think ww would've won the game for town. that said, robz was incidentally the main actor in town winning and did the standoff very well (unless you count that ww hammered, lmao). that also said, it's not like ww had nothing to do with the mislynch, and town didn't really have anything to go on as far as scumteams

Mcmc and I were talking about this game on the phone. He raised the point that the Restless Spirit was arguably negative utility, even though the Vig is definitely a buff to the Restless Spirit. Agree or disagree?

Would love to know who paco jailed. The JK is pretty much the strongest town role in general, or perhaps second strongest after Cop. Obviously it didn't make any difference here, though maybe that wasn't really pacos fault.

N1 I JK'd Lalight, N2 I JK'd SA (nearly JK'd WW instead).

JK is strong, but hard to use properly when scum has a strongman and a roleblocker... Cop is useful right away.

I considered playing less towny to try and survive until later on, but D1 and D2 were fairly horrible for town, up until the point when mcmc came back, so I just thought pushing the game forward and forcing interactions was more pro-town than having a Jailkeeper.

Robz, did you actually intentionally plant the Vig 'breadcrumb', or did you realize it later?

Not intentionally, but the second I wrote about it, I realized people might think that... and that would be good.

Apologies everyone.

I think I have some potentially permanent issues with mafia, I don't feel the same way as I used to about committing myself to things that take energy and thought but are purely for enjoyment. I didn't even really sign up for this because I wanted to, I signed up because I am someone who plays mafia so it seemed like an obvious thing to do again once I had the time. Right now I have an easier time seeing myself modding.

I'm really sorry for my contribution to killing you so early :-( I was trying to be a bit scummy-looking so that I could survive till later in the game (both times I was a town PR previously, I was the first NK), but I didn't quite mean to be that anti-town! :-(

Weren't you defending me later?

Even if there was something like blame for lynching me, you'd be the last one to have it!

I think there is a happy-medium of emotional investment vs. relaxation and enjoyment but with how wonderful a community this is I think it's really hard not to become too invested and games end up really really draining you. Don't feel bad about this one, I thought you were super towny and your day 1 lynch wouldn't have happened if I wasn't in the middle of boarding a cruise ship and drinking like my life depended on it during day 1 deadline :)
