It was too late, faust should have hammered.

Yes, but he was clearly not going to hammer. With you and gkrieg we could have lynched Archetype instead.

I was mostly hoping that all 3 of us who were present would have the same idea at the same time, there definitely wasn't time for you to move your votes after reading my post.

I am blaming faust. I just don't think I should have unvoted you.

We are an even number of people so no-lynch has been catastrophic. A vig would balance that out.

End of Day 2

Ford Prefect had been in a panic ever since his Sub-Etha Senso-Matic had flashed mauve at him in the early hours of the morning.  Yellow was bad.  Yellow was plenty bad.  But mauve?  Mauve was a disaster.  His towel, floral and embossed with "Sassy Frood Ford", had been exactly where he knew it was.  He had wrapped his few things in it and run out the door, heading straight for the little cul-de-sac where he knew his friend Arthur lived.

Looking up, he had been the one person who could see the pink monstrosities hovering in the sky.  They were protected by a Somebody Else's Problem field, but Ford knew; they were
his problem.  Only Ford could do anything about them.  As he ran, a red telephone box yelled an announcement at him.  It confirmed his fears - the Euthanists were here!

It didn't take him long to find Arthur, standing bewildered by a saxophone case.  Ford grabbed him, dragging him away from the nearest pub.  He pulled a 3 litre thermos of hot tea out of his towel and handed it to Arthur.

"Muscle tensifier," he said by way of hello; "you'll need it."

The
Four Frogs, behind them, shouted
"One battery?  Just one?  OK, let's see what we can do."
before promptly exploding.

Ford and Arthur were nearly thrown off their feet.  But Ford didn't panic.  His lifelong bible had taught him well.  He knew where his towel was.

No lynch has occurred.  Night 2 begins now and ends in ~48 hours.  Night actions are due in 36 hours.

Day 3 Start

Ford pulled Arthur round the corner, into a small alley.  As the slow-minded inhabitants of this small British Island finally picked up on what was happening, panic was starting to set in.  A man wearing a top hat, coming the other way, yelled out
"Git gone, you froggy git!"
He gave a man in a beret with a ridiculous moustache a hefty shove - the unfortunate beret-wearing gent tripped and fell with an accordionic clatter.  He lay motionless, "Le ashersky" writ clear on his back.

"Shouldn't we help?" said Arthur, still desperately trailing behind Ford.
"We are helping.  Come on!"

At the end of the alley, Ford pulled out his Thumb from the depths of his towel, and pressed a few buttons.
"Zark!  We'll have to do this without calculations.  Here goes!"

With a feeling like being drunk, Arthuer and Ford were promptly transported into the belly of the ship above.  They knew this because they had accidentally appeared directly on the bridge.  Various spectacularly unfortunate-looking aliens aurrounded them, as well as various unfortunate-feeling Beefeaters, who had apparently been picked up from directly outside the Palace.  One of them, with "faust" inscribed calligraphically on his bayonet, promptly dropped dead of sheer shock.

Ford was still in full paying-attention-to-what-the-Guide-says-on-its-front-cover mode, and simply turned to his begowned friend:
"You'll need this fish up your nose."

ashersky died during the night. He was Pubs.
faust died during the night. He was Tea.

So there's a (good?) chance we're at LyLo. Should we massclaim?

I think I'm for mass-claiming here.  I feel like there is no way we aren't at LYLO.

Well, there really could be a SK judging from the night kills. If there's 2 Mafia and 1 SK, it's not LyLo yet. I don't know how games are usually balanced when SKs are present though.

I don't think it looks like there is an SK?  I think that ash kill makes sense from a vig point of view, and the first night there was the redirect.

That's true, but it's pointless to speculate about vigs if we're going to have a mass claim anyway.

even if there's an SK, there's 3 mafia left, it's 12-[layer game. So we are quite screwed nevertheless. I am in for mass claiming.
