Bastard Mafia. Basically means there is no guarantee that the game is balanced or that there is even an effort to balance it, and it is not considered to be bad sportsmanship to play unseriously.

Bastard mafia may range from totally ridiculous like everyone is a serial killer and the mod makes up rules as they go, to basically a normal game with a very experimental setup.

I think this should not be discussed in here any further as I believe it refers to an ongoing game. If you are unsure what a player means in an ongoing game, it is better to ask them directly in that thread.
