We could have different Knights depending on what subforum/s we post in the most.

Maybe the respect should also be considered for the title? It is "easy" to post many useless things ;-)

User groups based on post count is a standard feature of SMF and I don't think it can do those things.

There's a couple of weird things in there. For one thing, Newbie is not a card. Then, Potion costs are ignored so Alchemist is with the $3 cards and Golem with the $4 cards. And the ranges of posts are really small at first but the thresholds for 'leveling up' get a lot steeper after 100, and then again after 500.

Also, the ranks are tied to cost of the Dominion cards, but by no means to their strength. It's weird to see Swindler below Chancellor and Salvager below Spy and Thief. Not to mention Adventurer being the top rank...

Isn't it to be expected that the ranges get progressively more "difficult" to get? 25 is a number that we perceive as significant and so is 30, but 4825 isn't and the next real milestone at that point is 5000.

IIRC, the ranks are supposedly tied to how cool the name sounds instead of strength.

Sadly none of the titles describing what I believe to be the bulk of the regulars is particularily flattering, even more so if you consider it in the eyes of a dominion newbie:

500-749 | Minion
750-999 | Jester
1000-1499 | Saboteur
1500-1999 | Torturer
2000-2499 | Mountebank

Clicking on "Date registered" gives some interesting tidbits. Other than Theory and RRenaud, there were 19 initial new members. Of these, 4 have never posted, two more have fewer than 10 posts, 8 more have fewer than 100, one has about 200, two have about 1000, and then Donald X has 3700.

It's a rather odd distribution, considering that the early registrants probably knew Theory and RRenaud IRL, so one would think that they would be more active.

(I say this because dozens of people were added over the next few days, presumably as the site started to attract attention.

Yeah, Chancellor, Scout, Spy, Theif, Sabotuer, and Adventurer are all on the list and they probably won't stay around. Minion, Tortuer and Consiprator could leave but honestly that's anyone's guess...

That's sad, but not surprising, it never got much traction.

When I walked by the booth, I coincidentally found out it was held at SpellenSpektakel a few years ago, but never heard anything about it.
