I was super frustrated EoD1 trying to get what seemed like a great lynch through and Mail-mi did not strike me as scummy at-all : (

General feeling. I did not investigate an further. silverspawn agreed, if that's helping.

Any comment on how the PoE is by now overwhelmingly in favor of him being scum?

The other options are really just you and LaLight right?  And I guess WW. I mean order doesn't matter too much, but I guess going J Reggie first is fine with me. I guess really we just want to kill the strongman first.

No kill makes it likely that he was roleblocked, which in turn makes him look pretty bad. Vig claim is a way out, and to stay alive. Countering this is the fact that he planned this claim early (with breadcrumbing and asking for my reads), so that would mean that he planned it without knowing he would get into this kind of situation.

In which scenario does schadd fakeclaim? Well I think only with a veteran scum partner. I mean, the options for that are really limited. And the claim would be planned ahead, so they would kind of have to know that I wouldn't die. Which seems unlikely. Or schadd is just really good and saw the potential... but then this does not explain how I am still alive.

I do understand how from your perspective the PoE is less clear because I am in it but I also think I am objectively townier than any of Joseph, J Reggie or Space also. I know I've said a couple thoughtless things but I don't play this way as scum even when I try.

So the only way that Schadd is fakeclaiming is if it is WW/Schadd, and they decided not to kill anyone in order to rake in town points for a day instead.

WW fakeclaim is more likely. Claim vig in case someone noticed that you've been killing people....

Let's look at D1 assuming that WW and schadd are both town, see where this gets us.

- Space-A is RVSing iguana. RVSing your scumpartner is a classic newbie mistake.
Other than that, let's skip RVS stuff.

- J Reggie argues against a Joseph wagon.
- There is a Reggie wagon: gkrieg, WW, silver, mail-mi. Two confirmed townzorz, one supposed, and one rather townie player.
- then we get the mail-mi L-1 thing.
schadd, faust, silver, iguana, Reggie, gkrieg. LaLight states intent to hammer.
Well the first bunch is towns. iguana and Reggie jump on at a pretty dubious point.
- we get a minor Joseph wagon started: faust, silver, schadd. No scums jump on this one. Interesting.
- Joseph, iguana, gkrieg start a wagon on me. Well that's not the scum team.
- let's look at a spacy reads list!

Witherweaver -- Null (still overconfident/sarky, though!)
LaLight -- Still very newbie!town.
silverspawn -- Null.. He has a lot of short posts I can't really get my teeth into.
gkrieg13 -- Mild town (and I have sympathy with him having put this on the back burner spend time trying to win BSG, even though he actually killed me!)
faust -- Null so far, leaning mild town.
Roadrunner7671 -- I don't even know.
Joseph2302 -- Mild town
SpaceAnemone -- Spaaaaaaaaaace!
J Reggie -- Null. Some bits of him seem scummy, but other bits seem quite towny.
schadd -- Mild scum maybe, if he knows people here from other forum interactions?

mail-mi -- Mild scum. I did just come from a game where he was scum, and he seems really similar.

Assuming they are scum, I don't think they would townread both their partners, which would point towards a Space-A/Reggie.
- here comes a pretty interesting point in the game:

mail-mi (4): J Reggie, faust, LaLight, SpaceAnemone
faust (3): Joseph2302, gkrieg13, Roadrunner7671

We have 3 towns on Reggie, 1 town on mail-mi and 1 town on me. Reggie looks like a better candidate now.
Then mail-mi votes for Reggie. Wow, 4 towns.
- LaLight tries to start a new RR wagon with silver. Slight town points for that.
- Then we get Reggie to L-1:
Witherweaver, iguanaiguana, schadd, silverspawn, LaLight, faust
gkrieg with the intent to hammer. Man, that's 4 towns. This is not scum-driven for sure. And I mean, LaLight is also on the towny side.
- and then mail-mi gets hammered.

Okay so. I think Reggie is a good place for a vote.

Posting from a train again, so not coping with editing quotes, but I want to respond to faust's big post.

I think assuming I'm scum and then using that as an extra axiom in your logic is a really questionable move. If you think I'm scum, lynch me, see me flip town, then rethink your assumptions. Don't assume I'm scum and use that to lynch other people who in isolation might not look so bad... Would JR flipping town even change your mind about me at all?

I'd like to see a version of your reasoning that assumes I'm town, too. I don't think my innocence even implies WW's guilt, which is frustrating, because it makes that a complicated exercise. And I've been worried about schadd ever since he "invented" the term townslip. This whole thing isn't good! :-(

If WW is telling the truth then Space is likely to be the 1 shot Bulletproof scum. Which makes Space basically a goon now, so we lynch J Reggie and get a better shot at lynching the strongman.

Eh, I'm voting for your because you are trying to get townie players like schadd lynched and being completely silent about all of the unknowns who should be under a lot of suspicion. You're playing like you have an agenda, IE: like newbie scum.

If you are town then this lynch is your own fault. You should have been looking into the unknowns (Reggie, Joseph, Gkrieg, uh me) and trying to figure out which ones of them are most likely to be scum.
