I'm going on a trip soon, and I'm going to bring some Dominion cards in a custom case. I've calculated I have space for about 20 kingdom cards. Since I will be playing exclusively with these, I'm wondering what everyone thinks is a good choice of cards that provides with an interesting spread of possibilities. I will most likely take a few of each card type (village, draw, trasher, attack, etc.).

Just go with your personal favorites. I could tell you mine but they might be completely different from yours.

I wouldn't recommend Mine, it's not a very good card.

20Kingdom cards is rather limiting, what about not taking all the treasures with you? Easy space for three more Kingdom cards atleast. Or clothes? You could really skip on those two to get some more Dominion cards in.

But if you're restricted to 20 Dominion cards: All of Empires is the first solution. These cards may no bore you after playing with them over and over, also Events and Landmarks have a pretty good space/entertainment ratio compared to Kingdom cards. Pen and Paper replaces all tokens easily.

If you don't have Empires yet, here is an alternative solution:
- Some Adventures events for said reasons.
-Throne Room, Golem, Apothecary, Menagerie, Jester, Herald, Transmogrify, Catacombs, Village, Caravan, Upgrade, Wharf, Forager, Stables, Advisor, Border Village, Haunted Woods, Grand Market, Fairgrounds

I've already skipped clothes to bring all volumes of the Encyclopedia Britanica.

I don't have Alchemy, Intrigue or Empires. Btw, what about Knights? Seems like they would be interesting. I guess this is pretty much a "what are the cards in Dominion with the most replay value" thread

Are you actually going to play the game lots of times? I tend to find that I only get to play 1-2 times on trips for whatever reason. I'd just pick 20 cards at random and go with those.

I do plan on playing a lot, considering I'll have a few long flights and I'll be gone for about 3 weeks.

I have an open card box, so I just set up the supply plus the kingdom with dividers, kind of like in the actual game box IRL, only it takes up less space.
