What stops town from no-lynching indefinitely?
The point of  that being, they can then keep tracking each other for an unlimited number of nights until they solve the setup.

I am a setup dummy but an easy fix, if needed, is to institute a lynch requirement (no no-lynch) or no consecutive no-lynches.
