You stole my hammer.  :'(

Yeah.. but you weren't around, and almost everyone seemed to be agreeing that chairs was shady :-(

I guess an upside to Silver's death is that it really confirms Iguana as IC too. Unless there's a way we could have a tracker who's scum-aligned. Could we? I'm assuming the probability is very low.

Silver said he considered gkrieg an IC too, and presumably also knew he was a likely night target, so probably wasn't lying about it.

The person I'd like to hear a lot more from today is diedre.
I agree, the chance of having igu as scum-tracker (who apparently claimed D1) is almost neglectable.
Scum!gkrieg is even more implausible because it would require scum to needlessly fakeclaim a PR in order to protect a town PR from getting lynched.
So for now I would go absolutely with both of them as ICs while it still might be worthy to look at them closer in the endgame.

I'm sure we'll both be dead long before that!

In other words, you didn't target anyone last night! I know because I tracked you.

I see no sense in hiding this result since I've already claimed.

Final Day 2 Vote Count

chairs (5): diedre, Calamitas, gkrieg, iguana, SA
SA (2): mail-mi, chairs
Calamitas (1): silver

Not Voting (1): RR

chairs has been lynched!  With 9 alive, it took 5 to lynch.

So with these 5 (+ Mail-mi willing to hammer?) on the wagon, and Gkrieg and I being IC, plus Calamitas not taking any trackable  action last night, I think I'm leaning toward a Diedre lynch? Space and Mail-mi would also be people I want to take another look at.

And then after that there's just Roadrunner....

At least three people could be scum, correct? Are we at LyLo already?

It should be hard to lynch town today if town plays well. Let's all do rereads.

Mine will have to wait until later.

Three mafia + a traitor makes more sense with my uber role than 2 mafia + a traitor. I'm going to assume we're at LyLo.

I'll pretty much just sheep iguana here. He and gkreig are definitely off the lynch table, and I'm willing to take Calamitas off the table too.

Yeah maybe a massclaim would be good.

Agree with mass claim with either iguana or me deciding the order.

3 mafia and a traitor is way overkill for 12 person setup

I have never understood how the benefit of a mass claim outways the bad parts

1) Could help us lynch scum today.

2) If we lynch town today, we might lose!

3) Three of our PRs already ended up having to claim.

The first two make the benefit bigger. The third one makes the downside pretty small.

Are we talking about the same thing? With three PR claims I doubt scum will claim PR. So that sort of nullifies the first point. The second point is just a fact. The third point-for the third point just reread the first two sentences of this post

You're in the lynchpool, and I am at least taking Calamitas out for today, because of the tracker result.

he's definitely not an IC but i think he's good to take out today.

Massclaiming is probably going to devestate any use of my role, therefore I prefer partial claiming in my specific case.
Apart from that I agree with igu, a massclaim isn't going to do much harm (in most cases) and might bring some good.

I tried to post this late last night (like 8pm forum time), but it wasn't working and I needed to sleep. I think it's still valid in spite of intervening posts,

Three mafia + a traitor makes more sense with my uber role than 2 mafia + a traitor. I'm going to assume we're at LyLo.

Wow, okay.

I'm pretty comfortable with a diedre lynch -- he's made so few posts in-game that are useful for alignment purposes, so re-reading him didn't take very long at all. If there are three scums left, we need to be really careful not to start an easy mislynch wagon for them to pile onto all of a sudden.

If Calamitas didn't target anyone, that just means he's not the one who made the NK, but could still be on the scum team, right? Though I've read him as quite towny for a while now.

Lastly, if we're at LyLo, would now be a good time to push RR for an explanation the weirdness around the mod info, and his sudden vote for diedre at the start of D2?

I am back! (after being prod and after forum downtime)
How I am supposed to post if the forum does not stay on?  :(

And people (me included) lynched a town again! We all suck!
With 7 players left and only one scum dead, I am hopeless.

My lynchpool now is: Gkrieg, RR and Calamitas.

Anyway, which posts changed your read on Mail-mi to make him town?

Could you explain your theory behind lynching gkrieg, please? Is there a genuine plausible role combination in which he's still likely to be evil? My suggestion of traitor vig (or some other kind of scum vig) didn't seem to gain any traction. He's the only person taking credit for the Seprix kill, and Seprix was scum...

An IC is an 'innocent child' , someone who is confirmed town. Gkrieg claimed being the one responsible for Seprix death in N1 which makes it very likely that he he is town for various reasons.

IC stands for Innocent Child. It's a role in forum mafia that basically lets someone prove they're definitely town. I haven't read any games where it's used to do that, but EFHW was one in this game till she was killed. More generally, people here just call someone IC when they're declared to be town beyond all reasonable doubt. Gkrieg is now in this position for this game.

The reason for his "IC" rating here is that he says he killed Seprix N1. Nobody on the town side believes that scum could make two night kills (NKs) in one night, so either that has to have come from a vigilante (which is usually a town role), or from a serial killer (SK, which is an independent non-town, non-mafia role). There is also an assumption that we couldn't possibly have scum plus traitor plus SK all at once because the game wouldn't be balanced. That may be something to re-visit given that Iguana has said he's got a really powerful town role, but even if that's the case, it doesn't make Gkrieg one of the mafia.

As for Mail-mi, if you're not sure about him, I think he belongs in your lynchpool at this stage, unless you have a good argument for not putting him there? Your readings on RR and Calamitas were really solidly town before, and yet they're now in your pool when Mail-mi isn't... I just find that quite hard to believe without some backing-up through posts and examples.

If scum kill a traitor, the traitor instead just converts to being full mafia. So it would be impossible for me to be scum. I'm either a vig or a SK
