Well, either teamlyle is hated or someone is a double voter.

Really hope it's the first, that makes him much more likely to be scum.

I'd actually argue hated is more likely a Town trait, in this theme, but that's just me.

If I understand it correctly, hated cannot be the case since it would have happened right after chairs vote then (or is it up to the mod when he announces the lynch?).

Day 1 End

The expeditionary party became more and more tense as they continued to slowly progress through the emerald mist.  Messages continued to fly around from ship to ship, and they managed to stay roughly together.  But the lack of visual contact, together with the spectre hanging over them in the form of the potential killers amongst them, slowly grew an increasing paranoia in the minds of each of the pilots.

"How can we have lost someone?"
"There's noone else in this frakking cloud!"
"It's just us!"
"You're right.  It's just us.  That means..."
"You can't be serious."
"We have to consider it, don't we?"

They grew more and more frantic as they fought their way through the hurricanes.  Then:

"WHAT THE FRAK?!  What are you doing there?"
One of the Viper pilots had nearly collided with another of the ships, coming hard up behind them.
"Why are you out of position, pilot?  You're not supposed to be there!"

If there was a response from the out-of-place ship, it was drowned out by the bombardment of messages from the rest of the voyaging ships.
"What?  Why are you near anyone?"
"Why are they there?"
"What reason could you possible have, pilot?"
"There's only one explanation, Viper.  They must have manoeuvred out of position to attack our missing crewman."
"But why would they?"
"Does it matter? Fire on them - they're too dangerous to leave alive!"
"No, you can't!"
"Do it, that's an order!"
"Frak! I don't kno-"
"FIRE, pilot!"

The desperate Viper pilot, overwhelmed, panicked.  Flashes of fire flew from his ship, and in an instant the wayward ship was gone, in a ball of flame.

The explosion triggered a chain reaction in the unstable cloud, setting off a massive lightning storm that began blocking all communication again.  The Viper pilot, adrift and alone once more, would have plenty of time, it seemed, to regret his actions.  He glance down at his controls, then began to stare at the hands that had pulled the trigger on another Colonist ship.

What had he done?

teamlyle has been lynched.  He was Saul Tigh, the Vanilla Colonist.

Day 2 Start

The radio silence seemed to last an eternity; each and every one of the lonely colonists beginning to sink into despair. The iridescent haze seemed to stretch endlessly ahead of them, and through their cockpit speakers came nothing but static. So when a voice came through the ether, clear as a bell, each one of them felt their spirits soar.

"Expeditionary ships, all expeditionary ships. You should be able to hear me now, I've managed to boost my signal. I've boosted my ident signal too, you should be able to confirm who I am; this is Galen Tyrol. I'm transmitting some coordinates, too, we should be able to group up safely ther- WHAT? No! Hold your fire, I'm a frien- "
There was a brief scream, then silence once again.

The comfort the pilots were hoping for being rather lacking, they nonetheless perservered, pressing towards the coordinates the doomed engineer had managed to transmit. It did not take them long to reach the spot, where they found a strange bubble of serenity. The gasses were drastically thinner, and the constant buffeting in the rest of the cloud seemed to simply flow around the small oasis of tranquility. Presently, all the remaining ships were gathered together in the zone, facing inwards, wary of each other. They could see each other's ships, but the visibility was not good enough to see through the darkened glass of their cockpit windshields. Still, someone had the presence of mind to perform a headcount. Nine?

"There are only 9 of us! We had 11, poor Galen is gone, but who else is missing?"
"I don't kn- hold on. Where's the ship with the rust patch on the nose? I don't see it!"
"Gaius's ship? You're right, he's not here. Another loss?"

There was a brief pause.

"Ah well, never liked him anyway."

EFHW died during the night.  They were Galen Tyrol, the Innocent Child.

Seprix died during the night.  They were Gaius Baltar, the 2-Shot Doublevoting Traitor.

Day 2 begins now and will end at 7pm forum time, 2nd September.

They usually don't. Traitor almost always means mafia doesn't know who hey are or that there even is one

Okay thanks.

vote: rr for voting first.

You're clearly in cahoots with the mafia as well, don't be such a traitor.

Although I think Seprix tried to breadcrumb in the posting above by using the word traitor. How do you estimate the chance of mafia understanding it?
