Inheritance with Vineyards

I've noticed that when the INHERITANCE event is bought in a kingdom where VINEYARDS are available, any VINEYARDS points attributable to "estates" are only allocated at the end of the game. By that, I mean that, if you use the point counter in Dominion Online, the score you see during the game will not be accurate as it does not count estates as actions for the purpose of vineyards until the end of the game, for some reason.

Based on my knowledge of previous bugs with the Vineyards points, I am pretty sure they add up the cards in each deck that match a list of card names. (A typo in a card name cause a previous issue.)  This method doesn't really allow for the type of a card to change, so the bug is not surprising.

I was under the impression that inherited estates don't count as actions for the purpose of vineyards.

Your estates become actions so they do count.

They become actions during the game, sure. But at the end of the game, don't you take the token off the set-aside card and then put it with the rest of your deck? And don't your estates return to normal when that happens?

I don't think you take the token off it, but it counts as in your deck. However, this doesn't make your estates lose the property of being actions.

The GokoSalvager log also has this wrong, throughout the game and including the end scoring: http://www.gokosalvager.com/static/logprettifier.html?https://dominion-game-logs.s3.amazonaws.com/game_logs/20160705/log.0.1467733139977.txt
I ended with 54 VP, my opponent had 51 VP.

Not sure if this should be reported somewhere?

Edit: Wrong log, fixed.
Also: GokoSalvager doesn't count the card set aside with Inheritance, which mattered here too.

I think you have the wrong log; there are no Inheritance or Vineyards in this game and you won 6-4 which appears correct.

I've created a pull request for yed to review with a fix for the Inheritance interaction with Vineyard. While researching this, it led me to discover that the inherited card is added to your deck for scoring; I wasn't aware of that. Because of that, I've added a line in the sidebar deck tracker that reads something like:

1 inherited Saboteur

right after it totals up the cards in your deck.

Another interesting tid-bit about inheritance:

If you inherit a crossroads, if you play one of your estate (acting as crossroads), it will draw you cards based on the amount of victory cards in your hand (including estates)... but it will not give you 3 actions.  I was a little disappointed.   :(
