Has anyone here attended (or will attend) Alton Brown's tour, "Eat Your Science"? I have a question about the show I just saw.

No but I met someone who did. Probably useless to you?

That depends. Are you able to talk with that person about his experience?

There was a spelling error that was later called out. It bugged me to see the error, and I thought for sure it would get addressed during the show as part of a joke. But then the punchline didn't happen, and the slide kept on going. But then one of the Twitter Q&A questions pointed it out. I was wondering if this was a legitimate error or if it's intentional (because *someone* on Twitter will surely point it out).

Oh, and if that person saw it in Kansas City, then never mind. My question would be pretty daft if asked of a person at the same show as me.

I wish I'd be able to attend one of his tours.  I have a T-shirt from his collection that says "Science! It's what's for dinner!"

And an official salt dispenser.

Aha, a Google search shows that the Kansas City show was not the only time this misspelling occurred. It's been tweeted in previous shows, so now I know that Alton Brown intentionally leaves the slide like that to generate attention. I have no idea if this was an innocent mistake that he kept around or if he planned it from the beginning. I could see both of them being within his character.
