[Mean Mr Mustard]

During each round of IsoDom 3 we will choose one common Kingdom to be used by all players to open the following round.  This week, during Qualifiers, we will as a group choose the special Kingdom to used in Round One.  Every participant, including those who lost in a previous round, may submit one Kingdom per round, to my inbox.  I will choose my favorite five, and we will hold a Poll to decide which to use.  For this reason, I am participating in this tourney as a moderator and not as a player.

Please have your Kingdom submission in by Wednesday 12PM EST.  The poll will be open for two days, until Friday.  Round One begins on Tuesday, January 31.

The theme for round one will be <i>Curses</i>.

What does the theme mean? Is it like an optional thing for us when we are making the preset kingdom?

Yes, it is optional, but it will play a part in which player-submitted Kingdoms will be kicked down the road.  So I suggest you add at least one curse-giver to your Kingdom this week.

Is it possible to make the voting system in a way so I can vote for 1 I want and for 1 I don't? Or maybe even better - sort the 5 kingdoms and send you preferences? Because I think it is more likely that there will be a board I will hate than I board I will love

So how will this work in the tournament?  We use these specific 10 cards for all games in a best of 7 series for round 1?  Or is this just for the first game, then random cards after that?

Are all these kingdoms province only? (I assume so, though people should make sure they prohibit colonies when setting up the kingdom.)

I did imagine mine with Colonies and Platinum. Although not enough for me to remember to put them down. I guess it's MMM's call in the end. Maybe allow the players to decide themselves?

Hey, rspeer.  I did not know this, I guess it has been to long since I read the FAQ.  At any rate, we will proceed with the five kingdoms as is, I do not wish to change them in the middle of polling.
