With the Bracket Fad going on (Thanks, Donald X.) I have devised a new game.

16 players are needed.

Each player will send me two random things/topics/people/nouns via PMs, and I will bracket them using random RNG.

Voting in each round will take place in this thread over the course of 24 hours. In the event of a tie, I'll flip a coin or something, so try not to get a tie. :p

Whoever owns the item that wins the bracket wins the game. It's kind of like Apples to Apples, but with BRACKETS.

I'd say the only rule is not to reveal who submitted what.

So yeah, who's ready to play the most lamest game since the dawn of Monopoly?

You can always set up a 2^ceil(log_2(N)) bracket and have the top 2^ceil(log_2(N))-N spots gets byes

Edit: In other words, with 12, you'd have a bracket of 16 with

Okay, we have everyone. If anyone hasn't submitted their thing, obviously do that. I think everyone did though. So I'll tally things, and let me explain a bit what will happen, because I'm sure a question has arisen in everyone's minds.

That will not happen, unless both your words are amazing, for which then of course you win regardless.

There will be two separate brackets basically, and everyone will have one submission on each side, to ensure nobody knocks out their own word.

To this point I've been voting for Pulsars on the strength of it being a cool sounding word. I just looked it up:

A pulsar (short for pulsating radio star) is a highly magnetized, rotating neutron star that emits a beam of electromagnetic radiation.
