Campaign – dark ages 4.13

How in heaven can one beat Act 4 game 13 of the dark ages campaign? I’ve lost about 8 times in a row, trying different stuff every time.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

You need to win the Province split 5-3 to make up for the extra points your opponent starts with.

Scavenger works nicely with Mystic and Vagrant to pick up early provinces. Graverobber lets you upgrade Necropolis into Scavenger and set up potential double province turns with Mystic.

You also need to get lucky to overcome the AI's lead.

This is driving me crazy. I’ve already tried what you describe.
I’ve also tried heavy Pillage-Graverobber, which got me close to winning 30-31
Other times, I’m left with a lot of Spoils I’m unable to use, since I have too few buys. And buying Storeroom is often a waste of time

This level seems stupid. Looks like it just takes a lot of luck.

I just did it.
I started Graverobbering Pillages, then I grabbed a few Golds.
Anyway I did basically the same as I did a bunch of other times, but this time it miraculously worked.

I hated that ridiculous level.
