Adventures Pricing

Jeff has stated on the Making Forums that Adventures will cost as much as the other-large expansions. So, for those wanting to know how much they will have to budget, we now have an answer.

Umm, anyway, how many Ducats does this mean we will have to purchase? I have no idea what the other expansions cost?

I believe it'll be $14-$15, if memory serves. I have no idea how many ducats that actually requires, or even if ducats are still a thing.

EDIT: Well, I can at least see that ducats are still a thing, and their price unfortunately scales very strangely. I have no idea how much the set will actually cost.

Has anyone bought ducats without using PayPal? In MFs ducat store there is also the Option of just entering your credit card number and expiration date but they dont even ask for the security Code, card owner or card Type. Plus Firefox says the connection to the site is not fully encrypted and it doesnt supply ownership Information ( they have a certificate but the organizations Name is not Part of it).

I dont know if i just want to enter my credit card Data into that site. Or are those options also Part of the PayPal payment process? Im confused  ???

I would strongly advise against entering any personal information on their site.  They don't have security as a big concern.

Using paypal should be safe though, so I would go with that option

I always use PayPal for Goko/MakingFun. I would never willingly give them my credit card info.

Making Fun might make off with your credit card, so I wouldn't use anything but PayPal.

It's possible to make a credit card payment through PayPal now without having a PayPal account, right?

Yes, it has been for a decade or so.
