The Necro Game

Actually we can just do this so we don't need to have a debate.

Rules:
 - You may post in this thread.
 - If you do and it results in you having the longest necro in the thread, you win the round and a new round begins.

Strategy advice:
 - Posting when it does not cause you to have the longest necro in the thread usually makes it harder for you to win that round (there can be edge cases, however), which is why it is not generally advised.

So, if I understand correctly, I now have post 40 or more seconds after you to get a point, and next person needs to wait like 10+ minutes, and so on?

But it has a flaw. Let's say I am in the lead, and necrotime to beat is 24 hours. I can just post a new post every 18 hours and make it impossible for anybody else to score a point.

The best reason to lynch Haddock is the meltdown we get to witness on the wagon runup. I mean, we should totally wagon him every day just for the lulz.

Nowhere in the rules does it say anything about winning overall. You just want to win the current round. Posting too often just makes it so nobody wins.

You can't.  But you can just, not reset the timer when it happens.
