Incorrectly parsed cards

While Donald X strives for clear wordings, every so often a card will have some ambiguous phrasing.  The rules, of course, takes care of most potential confusion, but I think it might be interesting to wonder at how balanced cards would be if interpreted differently.

The main one I'm thinking of is:

Incorrectly Parsed Artificer
- Action

+1 Card
+1 Action
+

Discard any number of cards.  For each card discarded, gain a card costing exactly , putting it on top of your deck.

So if you discard five cards, you put 5 Poor Houses on top of your deck.  Or other things, depending on how many cost reducers have been played.

Out of curiosity, how would you have worded Artificer?

"...gain a card with a cost in exactly equal to the number of cards discarded..."

"...gain a card with a cost in exactly equal to the number of cards discarded..."

Nope, wrong. Then you can discard 3 cards and gain a Familiar. Try again.

Put it in alchemy and call it a feature.

Well, a couple different ways, depending on how wordy you want to be:

"...gain a card costing exactly $X, where X is the number of cards discarded..."

"...gain a card costing exactly times the number of cards discarded..."

This problem appears with Horn of Plenty, as well.

Wrong Horn of Plenty:
$0
When you play this, for each differently named card you have in play (including this), gain a card costing up to $1.
Cost: $5

It's happening on my iPhone, though it's correct on my desktop. Must be a caching thing; most likely the image name somehow got crossed at some point and then fixed. Refreshing the page on the iPhone fixed it; but for fun; screen shot:

I've had this issue (and other image display issues) on my iPhone too. It just doesn't display things on the wiki right very often. When you see a Beggar every time there should be a coin symbol it makes the wiki a lot more interesting at least...
