Trash a card from your hand. Gain a card costing up to more than it. If the trashed card is an action, +1 action. If the gained card is an action, play it.

Remember that specifics can still be changed later. Including changing any of these to reacting to buying instead of gaining if needed for either power level or fixing something broken.

My thoughts mostly mirror what eHalcyon has already said in the last thread. I think having the reaction allow you to play a card isn't a great idea, since that's what the top half already does. Also, I think having the reaction gain a copy of a card isn't a great idea, because then if multiple players want to reveal the reaction (even in 2 player), turn order matters for who gets the card when there's not enough left.

I actually really like Panther; it's a mild attack usually, and can be used on yourself for interesting combos.

I'd guess so, since they're all names of Mac OS X versions. It's just like the use of the phonetic alphabet for the top-half suggestions.

Yeah. I tried thinking of a few different things, but the other lists I thought of either didn't have enough names in them, or they had a bunch more and I'd have to choose which ones to use. Of course, IndiaPanther could be a cool card name.

Thanks. Apparently the wording was beyond the character limits for a poll option. This doesn't bode well for the card being simple/short enough to put on a card.

I don't think it looks good for either one.

Edit: But i agree, Panther is the best choice. Of course it will lead to awkward situations in multiplayer games, where P3 doesn't buy a Duchy because P1 revealed this to P2, but well...

I didn't notice that self-synergy. I'm guessing that it makes it way too strong. The "Gain a Silver" may as well be "Gain a card costing up to $5 and play it".

Oh, and I just noticed that Kodiak is missing a condition on the gain; so it would have to have some sort of limit added. Perhaps if it were something not-common, like gaining a Province, then that would weaken it enough.
