I know that this puzzle was posted a while ago, but i just have to write my attempt at an answer: I noticed that Gardens, Mine, Mint, and Goons all can use coppers, e.g. Gardens has it fill up your deck, mine turns them into silvers, mint trashes them, and Goons gets VP for buying them. But moat/inn?

I think it might be some sort of a word puzzle, since there are three cards on the list that are four letter words starting with M, and gardens and goons have the same shell G ----> S. But this may be a red herring.

Yes, it is a word puzzle, the only thing that matters is the name of the card...

I think it has to do with cards that contain part of the word "Dominion" but I don't know how Gardens fits in.

I think he means you can only use letters found in 'dominion strategy' to form the card names.
