Slight card change ideas

Was going to post these ideas in one of many "fix cards" threads but can't see any recent ones.

Soothsayer:
Action/Attack - $5
Gain a Gold
Each other player gains a Curse. If he did, he takes a Coin token.

Reason: More on theme with Guilds

Hunting Party:
Action - $5
+$1
+1 Action
Reveal your hand, and reveal cards from your deck until you reveal a card that isn't a duplicate of one in your hand. Put it in your hand and discard the rest.

Reason: Still good, but now not a better Lab

Feast
Action - $4
Gain a card costing up to $5. Trash a card you have in play

Reason: Give it some late game use for converting unwanted actions into Duchies.

Caravan Guard
Action/Duration/Reaction - $3
Trash a card from your hand
At the start of your next turn, draw until you have 6 cards in hand.
---
When another play plays an attack card, you may play this from your hand.

Reason: Actually makes the card a good defense against attacks, and lose the awkward text about Actions.

King's Court
Action - $6
You may reveal an Action Card in your hand other than a King's Court. Play it three times.

Reason: Still a great card with crazy potential (eg combined with Throne Rooms), but more subdued.

King's Court
Action - $6
You may reveal an Action Card in your hand other than a King's Court. Play it three times.

Reason: Still a great card with crazy potential (eg combined with Throne Rooms), but more subdued.

Living up to your Forum name with this one I see...  ;) :P

I suspect this version of Feast makes infinite turns possible, but I'll have to think about it to be sure.

Do you mean infinite turns or infinite actions within a turn? Infinite turns definitely not; as the cards that give extra turns never care if they themselves are in play or anything like that.

Do you mean infinite turns or infinite actions within a turn? Infinite turns definitely not; as the cards that give extra turns never care if they themselves are in play or anything like that.

Infinitely many actions played within a single turn, obviously.  It may be possible to do some Procession/Catacombs/Feast/Graverobber thing where you can just keep on gaining and playing stuff. Involving Champion probably.

Simple infinite combo... probably there is something better.

Ferry on King's Court, +1 card token on New Feast

King's Court 0-> (this one stays in play)
    King's Court 1->
        Graverobber 1
        New Feast 1 (trashing KC1, GR1, NF1)
        King's Court 2 ->
            Graverobber 2 (gaining KC1, GR1, NF1)
            New Feast 2 (trashing KC2, GR2, NF2/drawing KC1, GR1, NF1)
<Loop Forever>

Add more tokens or something to actually get something out of it.

Edit: With a standard Kingdom containing Ferry/Pathfinding + Teacher, you can get +1 card and +1 coin on New Feast, and +1 buy on Graverobber for infinite coins and buys.

Also I forgot you are gaining infinite cards costing up to $5 with New Feast.

IMO to make it more on theme with Guilds you should be the one gaining coin token(s) in place of Gold. I actually started a thread once to ask how many tokens it should give; the consensus was "2" but I never playtested enough to be sure.

You don't draw until you reveal, you reveal until you reveal. As soon as you reveal, you stop revealing. What you're revealing is cards from your deck.

You don't draw until you reveal, you reveal until you reveal. As soon as you reveal, you stop revealing. What you're revealing is cards from your deck.

It is confusing, but I am pretty sure it is just supposed to have the same text as Hunting Party currently does.  The change is that instead of getting a card to start with, you get a coin instead. It no longer increases your hand size by one. (changed from a lab variant to a peddler variant)

King's Court is fun online but IRL the tracking is the opposite.

King's court is not hard to track IRL if you play your cards in a somewhat organized fashion (KC > KC > Peddler > Smithy > KC > Peddler > Peddler > KC... etc.)
