At this point, the client is so new that most people don't really know what 4200 on MF is supposed to mean. Level 38 is normally quite high

38 used to be comparable to ~5500-6000 on Goko.

That can't be right. I'm pretty decent, but not that good. I checked the leaderboard and I seem to be 104th there, which I think is overrating me a bit (the Pro leaderboard on MF has me 364th). Ah well, I'll leave it to Stef from here, it's not too bad if I get paired with high-ranked players - worst case scenario I'll lose everything but at least it's a good learning opportunity

That's a weird comparison. I think you can't really compare Iso with the swingyness and decay the Goko/MF system has... I've peeked at 6K Goko but never made it above Level 33.
Also, it seems like a lot of the better players have a severly higher level than they had on the old client.

I think you can compare Iso with the Goko rating system pretty well. Sure, the Goko rating is swingier and will more often rank you too high or too low temporarily, but if you generally managed to stay within that range of Goko ratings, then you were probably around Iso 35-40 (except at the end when everyone had super low Goko ratings for some reason). And yeah, it's true that a lot of players have higher Iso levels now than they had on Goko, but it's still the same algorithm.

For what it's worth, I went from around level 25 on Goko to level 35 on MF without really doing anything, so I don't think we should be comparing people's Goko levels to their MF levels directly at all.
