Where did the Dominion 2.0 music come from?

The first half of it is really awful.  Reminds me of some chill in-town music from Maplestory, except, much worse.  With bagpipes.

Then the second half has some sort of wonky technoie stuff and it's not so bad.

I can't imagine that they composed this just for Dominion.  It doesn't capture the spirit of Dominion.  Also it's pretty similar to Dominion 1.0 music, was that popular?

Oh now some totally new song came on, it's croony and awful.

Anyway it's taking an infinite amount of time for me to sign in, my expectations have not been defied with regard to my ability to actually use this software to play dominion.

It's the same music from 1.0.  I've already offered my services as a composer to them, but they don't seem to be all that interested.

The music is fantastic, especially the fact that you can turn it off.

I've spent a long time wondering whether the music is the worst or the creepy avatars are the worst. I've decided they're both the worst.

Disclaimer: I'm an iPad only player so I haven't played 2.0 and I don't know if the creepy avatars have been reimplemented for the new version.

Rest assured, they did not let those valuable art assets go to waste.

Maybe I shouldn't give them such a hard time, since it's pretty standard to expect players to provide their own music now.  Even League of Legends, most popular video game, has mediocre music/not enough of it.

In a way, having music so terrible that it motivates you to turn it off is better than having merely mediocre music that you tolerate and then find stuck in your head on repeat ad infinitum.

Yes, I can't imagine any of the Dominion Online songs getting stuck in my head.
